As most of you know, Dan Smith has been furloughed from his role as Discloser. The President has been attempting to restore Dan to his former position, but there is the issue of a Wall that stands between Dan and Discloser. Fortunately Painter Doug has steeped up to the plate, expanding Dislosure to include Science, Technology, and Art. Were the decision mine, I would convert Doug's temporary appointment permanent,  but the President remains loyal to Dan and he is the Commander. I will keep you posted.

There’s an idea......... yes, Doug, you need a team.  Can I be on your team?  The Princess and me...... well, I think she’s already on the team.  Yeah....... Ron, too, if we have to have him....... donny.....?

Ok, he has point.  Thoughtful folks often trace the rise of the scientific spirit to the Incarnation.  True, it’s not a simple cause and effect.  It is more complicated, but no less persuasive.  

It has to do with the overturning of Plato’s stratification. Yes, Aristotle and Pythagoras had much to do with the rise of science...... I would give much credit to Plotinus, and gnosticism, in general.  


Wait a minute....... I give lip service to the freedom of imagination, but 99% of life is a life of the mind.  Yes, Lincoln was shot by Booth, and that bare fact is pretty well engraved on Eternity...... even for idealists.  But...... that’s just the skeleton of history.  

History books have been written...... much of history is already in black and white....... or is it?  

We keep reinventing ourselves.... our lives...... each other.  

Think of how much of history has to be reinvented, with each paradigm shift.  

I’m trying to say something....... about how boring is the BPW.....

Can we play it again, Sam?  There may be bare facts, maybe, but the fabric.... the tapestry of history is the meat of the story.  

On the other side...... we replay... rewrite every narrative...... up to, and definitely including the Matanarrative.  How loose is the plot line?  Can the plot be spoiled?  

How restrictive is the BPW hypothesis?  I think there must be a lot of wiggle room for the imagination.  How many remakes can we do of the Crucifiction, for instance?  How many paintings?  

The Visitors likely have a video of the Crucifiction.  Will that be a plot spoiler?  Am I a plot spoiler?  Am I a party pooper?  That is one way of looking at it, but I certainly don’t think it’s the only way.  

Or do they?  Videos exist...... think Akashic record.

It has to do with the unbreaking of the circle..... the CTC.  

Time is already beginning to ‘retrace’, as postmodernism morphs into premodernism.  That morphing has to do maintaining optimal continuity........ how the Omega morphs back into the Alpha. This an essential aspect of the teleology of the Telos.  

In this time ‘reversal’ process, sapience is, necessarily, drastically curtailed, as the left behind, tree huggers go off the grid..... significantly less than a million of them.  

What would the video look like?  

That might be a moot question.  Imagination is given free reign.  

Will there be reruns of I Love Lucy?  ...... of every Super Bowl?  

Optimality comes by default.  Suboptimality requires effort.  

Somehow, I doubt that the Akashic record is compromised of videos or newspapers.  

Imagine a copy of the NYT in an archive...... or in many......

Can we rewrite that history....... can we rewrite the Cloud?

What is my problem..........?

My problem is that, if we’ve had all Eternity to fine tune the BPW, what is left for us, mortals, to do?

I could suggest that all of Eternity is inside us. In our lives we are recapitulating that Eternity. Ok, but how do we play it again?

And, more to the point, what does that mean, and why does that possibility seem important?

Why do we watch highlights of sports, etc.....

It is reported that on the other side..... other times, we take on the identity of the participants. We are not just onlookers...... we always have a vested interest.

It’s not like watching reruns.

History is not actually a spectator sport...... however much historians may attempt to objectify it.

The Monad has a dog in every fight...... we are the dogs.

Of course, any good history is a narrative that attempts to pull you into the action. We do what we can to accommodate the author.  


There is, in record keeping, a general problem for idealism/immaterialism......

Records are recorded on/in material media.  Books and DVDs may be copied..... ad infinitum.  

This presents an inverse logistics problem for the direct realist, which an idealist must be.  

When I read a book, I am actually reading the mind of the author.  

Recall that I don’t believe in telephony...... just telepathy.  

I guess you could say that telephones are just actuators for mind portals...... and they are mostly voluntary.  Some actuators come with an elaborate infrastructure....... you might call it an entanglement.  

The Earth is an actuator for the best possible Creation.  

A grain of sand actuates the pearl oyster....... or a felicitous sin, you might say, activates the Monad.

The oyster is the infrastructure for the grain of sand.

Explaining anomalies is child’s play.  It’s normality that is difficult.  Normality is mind boggling.

Before explaining normality, you would have to explain normativity, which is a foundational problem for philosophy.

Associated with norms are conditions, as in conditionality...... and counterfactuals.

Materialists are able to make no sense of counterfactuals, which, of course, are essential to any scientific inquiry.

Normality is certainly a challenge for me. It's difficult to reconcile anomalies with normality, I think therein lies the problem.

Reading up on normativity now, I can see why it would be major problem for philosophy, it seems rather subjective.

We take normality for granted...... so does science, except when it comes to performing a particular experiment........ wherein laboratory conditions must be enforced...... anomalies must be suppressed.  

And then we wonder why the scientific world appears so rigid.  

Science cannot abide anomalies.  

But what is an anomaly, if we can’t explain normality?  

The alleged objectivity of science is built upon a philosophical quagmire. Ultimately, it is a castle in the sky. Materialism is an incredibly vulnerable system of beliefs.
