It scares the hell out of people

I have had people in my life literally 'bail' after I shared by feelings..

I didn't want anything just to share a feeling..

On occasions it was very painful and you start not wanting to share any more for fear that you might cause upset or worst still, be deemed 'weak' 'stupid' or something in that local.

I just was trying to be me - often times I got it hopelessly wrong but on occasion something must have clicked as like Jung says about two people interacting - like chemical interactions, both are changed.

Being the best version of yourself is a challenge but like the guy who ran the Tai Chi class I attended
a few times said to all of us once - you never stop refining your practice, even if you think you have got it down or got good.

That makes sense to me.

I’m sure that UG would disavow it, but his notion of the ‘natural state’ correlates considerably with the notion of the best possible world...... seen from the perspective of the individual.

I point out this correlation as it came up indirectly in my periodic reversion to the questioning of the BPWH.......

My favorite question is to ask myself about the ontology of the Sun.  

Science has an elaborate, but very nice explanation for the provenance of the Sun.

Even before latching on to pratītyasamutpāda, I speculated, along the lines of relationalism, that the Sun and sunflower were causally related, in a bidirectional sense.  

One might recall the ‘daisy world’ that is used as a model for the Gaia hypothesis.  

We can say that the Sun is the engine of metabolism....... but why metabolism?  

Allegedly, there is no sun and no metabolism on the other side.  

One might suppose that the Sun is the motor of the Earth, and the Earth is the motor for the other side.  

Metabolism is the essential regulative device for processes on this side...... having to do with the ‘level playing field’ and the like.  

The Logos Spermatikos and metabolism are very closely correlated, after all....... otherwise the I Am could only float in the abyss..... as the Sun does, according to science.  

It is the sunflower that provides an ontological anchor for the Sun..... in our relational world.  

It may seem that we have gotten ourselves rather far removed from UG Krishnamurti, but we’ll get back, eventually.  

Before going much further, I have to confess that I don’t believe in motors....... but, paradoxically perhaps, I do believe in metabolism and the Logos Spermatikos.  

The Sun is an essential ingredient of the Logos.  

If it didn’t already exist, the I Am would have had to invent it.  

It didn’t....... so She did..... in other words.  

It seems that the I Am is a very busy bee , existing as a seeming contradiction to the life of UG.

I think UG was as close to ground as one can be.

The videos we see of him are mostly recordings of seekers going to him looking for answers and he responded with a certain degree of intensity knowing that the problems were born out of the answers we already have.

He was inviting the seeker to give up, knowing that was the only way the confusion would end.

The end of his seeking came when one day he asked himself how he would know when he had become an enlightened man, and realized that question had no answer.

That was the end of his individual seeking self and the beginning of what he called the natural state.

I feel the degree of his anti-guru intensity often matched the intensity of the seeker that came to him looking for answers.

Most of the videos we see of him are from seekers going to him and turning on a video camera, so of course his intensity was fairly high in these moments knowing he knew nothing.

I don’t think he hid his heart as much as one might think watching videos online though.

I remember skimming through this book about him written by someone who spent some time around him in a variety of situations and it’s clear that he was not always as intense as depicted in many of the recordings of him.

In the immediate aftermath of ones own ‘calamity’ the logos might seem like dog vomit to a dog, but ya, it’s all we have.

All we can do is dialogue.

We can’t wake anyone else up.

We can only wake ourselves up.

We learn to accept the limitations of the logos and we relax.

The thing I always measure myself against is my own ease.

Do I feel at ease in this moment with what appears here as this?

If not, am I at least at ease that I am not at ease?

Ha!

That tends to bring me back to ease quicker than trying to force myself to conform to some idea of how I think I ought to be.

So I go with the flow and work out my shit every day.
