Where did all the Open Minds Forum members go?

Fri Oct 19, 2012 12:29 pm by Admin

With Open Minds Forum restored now for almost half a year at it's new location with forumotion.com we can now turn to look at reaching out to OMF's original members who have not yet returned home. OMF's original membership was over 6,000 members strong, prior to the proboards suspension, according to the rolls of the time. We can probably safely assume that some of those accounts were unidentified socks. If we were to assume a reasonable guess of maybe as many as 30% possible sock accounts then that would leave potentially somewhere between 4800 to 4900 possible real members to locate. That is still a substantial number of people.

Who were all these people? Some were average individuals with common interests in ufology, exopolitics, globalism, corruption, earthchanges, science and technology, and a variety of other interests. Some just enjoyed being part of a vibrant and unusually interesting community. Others were representative of various insider groups participating in observation and outreach projects, while still others were bonafide intelligence community personnel. All with stake in the hunt for truth in one fashion or another. Some in support of truth, and communication. Others seeking real disclosure and forms of proof. And others highly skeptical of anything or limited subjects. The smallest division of membership being wholly anti-disclosure oriented.

So where did these members vanish to? They had many options. There are almost innumerable other forums out there on the topics of UFO's or Exopolitics, the Unexplained, and Conspiracy Theory. Did they disappear into the world-wide network of forum inhabitants? Did some go find new homes on chatrooms or individual blogs? Did they participate in ufo conventions or other public events and gatherings? How about those who represented groups in special access? Or IC and military observers? Those with academic affiliations? Where did they all go and what would be the best way to reach out and extend an invitation to return?

And what constitutes a situation deserving of their time and participation? Is the archive enough? How exactly do people within the paradigm most desire to define a community? Is it amenities, humanity or simply population size for exposure? Most of the special guests have been emailed and have expressed that population size for exposure is what most motivates them. But not all. Long-time member Dan Smith has other priorities and values motivating his participation. Should this open opportunities for unattached junior guests who have experience and dialog to contribute to the world? How best to make use of OMF's time, experience and resources?

Many skeptics would like to see the historical guardian of discourse opportunity to just up and disappear; go into permanent stasis. They think that not everyone has a right to speak about their experiences and if there is no proof involved then there can philosophically be no value to discourse. I personally would respectfully disagree with them. Discourse has always been the prelude to meaningful relationships and meaningful mutual relationships have always been the prelude to exchanges of proof. In a contentious social environment with regards to communication vs disclosure how do we best re-establish a haven for those preludes? Is it only the "if we build it they will come" answer? Well considering OMF has been largely fully functional over the last four or five months this line of reasoning is not necessarily true. So what would be the best way re-establish this? Your suggestions are sought. Please comment.

Well, Doug, I think we may have to hand the carrot cake to Ackbar......
I’m still not 100 percent sure which category disclosure falls into, but it don’t matter folks, all things are one. All things are a reflection. Transparent mirrors abound, Donkim show or no Donkim show.

    all things are one/

Ill go with that for now.

still doesn't explain much and has a sidestepping aspect to it but ill sit with it.

I listened to Gary Nolan on Whitleys  site.     he spoke plain and was careful to say he knew nothing, made assumptions, educated guesses, hypothesized and theorized .   this works for me.   I like his pondering on  the Nimitz object, the one testified to by pilot witnesses , not the pictures , as a true unknown , and possibly  a condensed form of pure consciousness  .    but he said he doesn't know.//

The illusion of time is the illusion of division.

    Jesus said be as children.

I say be as a newborn baby, unaffected by the illusion of division. Be headless. Be agape.

Correct.  All-Being is hyper-consciousness in a sense.  Disclosure is part of that process.  Time is all the minute points of awareness not entirely unlike coordinates in a gps map in the conception of All-Being.

    Be agape is the bullseye.

Like Dan, Eric is capable of brilliance when he's listening and not using his talent to be the loudest gong in the room.

Time is but a part of the language of agape.

All particles that comprise the universe receive their directives from gravity*, which is one of the four  forces of Nature. Therefore, all nature is Agape too.

*Gravity is the source of interference patterns from which all particles organize themselves into. Much like how patterns of sand appear on a Cymatic plate after it's subjected to different tones. Those patterns that form on those plates are even predictable. Those tones are the 'interference patterns". Gravity is the force that drives creation.

    There is no gravity.

Gravity is a consequence , not a force.

    Time is gravity...gravity is time.

Consciousness is the creator they have called god....the holy spirit or ghost.

No-thing actually exists, except as a memory that is constantly resetting on/off.

It is indeed, oft called the ether, the milky sea of universe.

I would recommend a look in kosyrevs mirror, and think in terms of spin  torsional fields of consciousness.

    Doug,

Have you ever watched the movie Kung Fu Panda?

My daughters were watching it last night when I came home from work thinking about all this.

It's funny how the universe itself is the master of all gurus for those who have the eyes to see and ears to hear.

In Kung Fu Panda, who is the dragon warrior?

In your life, who is the dragon warrior?

What is the transforming secret of the dragon scroll?

What was the secret sauce to the noodle soup?

Look carefully at the dragon scroll in that movie, was it just a blank sheet, or did it reflect?

The final scene when the dragon warrior fights the bad guy Thai Lung, how does he defeat him?

Does he have to exert much effort, or does Thai Lung mostly defeat himself just trying to fight the Panda who has become the dragon warrior?

How is this related to love?

How is this related to the Eschaton, to the bad guys all being destroyed at the second coming?

    What is the second coming?

Will God destroy them or will they destroy themselves? Maybe the answer is yes and yes.

As far as the Donkim show goes, I believe that is an outward reflection of an inner state of being.

The paradox to be understood is this:

If the final state or the highest state is peace and harmony on earth, then war is undesirable, hate is undesirable; they are the necessary "evils" on the earth and in the end
they must be dissolved to reach this state.

If the final state is peace and harmony in the body,
then Disease is also undesirable, perfect health is the final state; disease must go, but you must remember that a dead
man never gets ill; a dead body can deteriorate but cannot be ill.

So if you don’t understand, all your
efforts may create a dead world. There will be no disease, no war, no hatred – but no life either.

There is another option and it starts within.

It starts with the war within and the disease within, for everything outward is a reflection of the inward. As above so below. As without so within.

How do we fight the battle within and defeat the undesirable, the "bad"? That is what we have to answer for ourselves, it is a very personal and individual answer, but it starts with trust and love.

The kingdom of God is like a mustard seed.

The mustard seed is destroyed when the tree takes form. The mustard seed trusts completely when it surrenders and dies, giving birth to something much greater. Giving birth to a tree that gives shade and rest to all the birds within it's reach.

What happens in Finding Nemo when Marlin and Dori are inside the whale? Marlin tries to fight his way out by continually ramming himself into the back of the whale's teeth, but he just beats himself up.

The whale lifts his tongue and tells them to go to the back of the throat but Marlin is afraid of being swallowed and eaten alive. The two fish end up suspended out of the water clinging to the whales tongue. Dori tells Marlin it's time to let go, it's time to surrender and take the final leap of faith, but he hesitates. He asks Dori, "How do you know something bad isn't going to happen?". She responds, "I don't" then lets go. Finally Marlin, perhaps not even realizing that if he doesn't let go he will die anyway from suffocation, surrenders and lets go.

What happens next? The whale shoots the two travelers out of his portal...I mean blowhole, and they arrive safely at their final destination.

It takes a great deal of courage and faith and love. It is the hardest thing we will ever do but it will be the most rewarding.

"Even very great philosophers like Bertrand Russell think that if war is finished
everything will be okay. This is negative – because war is not the problem, the problem is man. And
the war is not outside, the war is within. If you have not fought the war within, you will fight it without.
If you have fought the war within and have become victorious, then the war without will cease."
    -OSHO

    What is pure gravity?

What is gravity in relationship to mass?

What happens to the illusion of time when one reaches the speed of light?

What happens to mass and gravity at that point?

How do we reach the speed of light to trap the Dormouse (time) and break the mad tea party cycle?

Think about the variables, which one is in our control?

How do we realize the state of a supermassive black hole?

Start within. Fight the battle within, then clean up the afterbirth, clean up your houses then enjoy the flowers.

You want disclosure, forget about Donkim or the Grey Lady, or The Princess and the Pod, or E8, or the ever illusive dangling carrots.

Start remembering your dragon scroll and the secret ingredient to your noodle soup.

Also, I might add, don't take the journey too seriously. Keep a bottle of smelly goat extract around for when you start taking it all too seriously. After all, serious people are boring and don't have much fun. Laughing

Surrender in true agape, will naturally result in celebration and dance and fun anyway. sunny

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense anyway, haha.

    Thanks Alice!

You want disclosure, forget reading the New York Times and read Ron and Dan's Chronicles of The Princess instead. Trust me on this one, it's all there hiding in plain sight.

The Footman understands the gravity of the situation and has given us a cheat sheet.

Footman's posts, if you go back and look at his posts, only go back three pages. (click on his name and then click on posts). Could you give us your interpretation of his hidden meanings in those posts of his that you think are significant?

Any of my interpretations of his posts are only conjectures, on my part. I would love it if we could get the scoop on what he's really saying. You are saying that you know what he's saying. So could you share that information with us? I would be much appreciative if you decide to do that. thanks Smile

    99,

I'm not talking about the Footman's posts here in OMF, I'm talking about his story of the Golden Fleece and the Philosopher's Stone.

His sequel to what Charles Dodgson penned about a girl and a portal years ago, but from his first hand perspective.

Most of it can be found here:

    Can you feel this energy?!

    Whoooosh.

    My gosh.

My wife is a Leo...you have no idea what this blood moon over Leo has brought us.

    I do...

I’ve been cutting loose...no need to stop now. Lots of moon love in the air...get some.

This Blood Moon in Leo has us all wired on some seriously luscious life force energy.

Leo rules creativity, glamor, romance, and fertility. Many of us will be "giving birth" during this potent lunar cycle and begin seeing our efforts come to light in bold and attractive new ways.

Proud Leo has a reputation for living large and tooting their own horn without a second thought. There's actually nothing shameless, however, about a little self-promotion under the moonlight eclipsed... Sharing our gifts is an act of generosity, so long as our intention is to uplift others rather than to serve our own egos.

Eclipses are the harbingers of change, speeding up inevitable actions and pushing us to look within and beyond in new directions. On a literal level, an eclipse reveals a shadow... The same holds true, metaphorically... Secrets and truths concealed are being revealed.

As the smoke continues to clear, it is up to every individual to decide how to use any revelations that have come to light. Will you run away in the opposite direction or bravely embrace this as an opportunity to create from a place of genuineness and authenticity?

Leo is the courageous hero of the zodiac... Always willing to take a chance or speak up when nobody else dares. There's a difference between being courageous and being fearless, though. A fearless person might just be out of touch with reality, whereas a courageous person feels the very real fear, but does it anyway.

Even if you missed the Blood Moon, this wild Big Cat lovin' energy in the air, will linger for the next couple of days... so be bold, keep cutting loose and enjoy.

Ackbar has now taken my mantle.

    Ack, give ‘em hell.

    Be courageous.

I am not fearless, but I have had moments of courage. As have you. We shall treasure them as evidence that we were here and we stood against fear and did not let it overwhelm us.

    Dan,

+0 = nothing more, nothing less

    Be your true self.

    How?

Follow your True Will, nothing wavering.

That's what it means to me at least.

I think more importantly though is what does it mean to the person asking the question.

    Who and when is asking?

It could mean something else to someone else, that is how it's supposed to be.

Like I said the other day,

Surrender to god's will completely or be imprisoned. Wink

    Smelly,

    You rock too!

You might even be The Rock! Shocked

I smell what you've be cooking here and it's smelly!

A good or bad kind of smelly you ask? It depends on who and when is asking.

Just don't plug your nose or you might never come to know.

I will do my best to fill the mantle when the mantle rains down in spontaneity. Wink

ACKBAR/  THANKS FOR WRITING   well you have an advantage to having shows for your kids on.  I don't have kids at home and occupy my cave of creativity by my lonesome  .

so no I haven't seen these but can assume by your and others descriptions what they speak of.

speaking with princess today, I mentioned to her that there was an experiment with time.   they put volunteers below ground for a long stretch in a study.

without knowing anything about the above world, no sun rising, setting no work whistles blowing etc, they let the participants decide what time was for them.

it was personal,  and didn't turn out as one might think.   many of then slept less and were in awake states much longer.   without a watch, a clock ,a cell phone or any communication, they were free from the time box we are all in.   time became a sort of taffy.

i still have" catholic work ethic guilt" lol , impulses about time.   oh you should get up now, or  you can't sleep now! etc

time was a whole other thing to the people in this study .

    Very interesting study Doug.

    Is this the one?

I wonder what it might look like if the same study were performed but with vipassana masters, what the differences might be.

None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who think they are free and none are more dangerously free than those who think they are enslaved.

There is always a third option. Thankfully we have the keys inside the jail cell. No need to worry about escape when you have the keys already?

Dan has The Princess key, and I have the Goat key forged from The Princess Pod, delivered to me at 3am in the desert by the lake and lit with the Flame of Friction.

Eric, well he turned water into wine, and when you gotz wine what else do you need? It's like liquid bread baby!

Wait, that would be beer, not wine. Oh well, same effect.

I would be much appreciative if you decide to do that. thanks Smile

if only Foot Mann was actually the Footman... Smile
