The previous attempt.....  the ‘Bj-Gz’ thread.... can no longer be posted to, for some unknown reason...... only the existing posts can be edited.

Perhaps this was a cosmic glitch...... called stop the press.... while we consider the following possible flaw in the BPWH......

I tend to agree that nothing is not really possible.  

And, if there’s going to be something, the mental something has logical priority.  

And, with the mental, coherence has all the ‘statistical’ weight.  

The best possible God is the minimal God, who hardly had a choice in the matter.

So where does love come into this?  Where does will come in?  

One may postulate that, once we let a self in the door, that self will come equipped with a will to survive....... virtually by definition.  

Call it self love, if you will.  

To go any further, we need only observe Maslow’s hierarchy of needs.......

There are five levels....... the first four are quasi instinctual..... they come along with sentience, at the most.

But what is this self actualization?

Logic and reason are good tools and are needed to make the best world.

But intellect is not the point.

Only the step behind logic and rationality into the absurd provides your chance to shift your perspective beyond your personal narrative.

You simply won’t ever truly know until you let go.

Mind is deceptive by nature.

I can readily agree that, when it comes to love, the intellect is only a minor, supporting actor.  

But all this deception stuff...... I don’t really understand where you are getting off with all of that.

For instance, is the Monad a deception?  

Yes, relative to the Monad, everything else is a deception.  

That’s one way to look at the world...... that’s the Buddhist way...... the glass being half empty.  

But, then, we could look at the world as just a warmup act...... just the fore play....... for the inevitable consummation of our marriage to the Monad.  

Being able to see this is the ultimate point of Coherence.  

Being able to see this coherence is the ultimate in art appreciation for us, art lovers.  Tell chick that he’s wrong.  

Observing dump scavengers in Calcutta might not seem like fine art, but, if we did it right, we might learn a thing or two....... and don’t knock it if you haven’t tried it.

I suggest that he take Ecology 101, wherein he might lean that life is a team sport.  

The reason why we are here is to participate in the love life of the Monad.  

As we saw, the love life of the Monad started on a slippery footing.  

But..... spoiler alert ...... it will end with the Big Love....... according to the Metanarrative, anyway.  

Surely, love has its own reasons, 90% of which are below the surface.  

So, yes, I do worry inordinately about the 10% that is accessible to the Logos..... narrative..... that can be verbalized.  

But I’m sure glad to have someone along who can hold my hand..... both is the real world, and in the transpersonal dimension.  Is chick ever lucky .

By the way, do keep in mind, that the word ‘transpersonal’ is an oxymoron........ personhood being transcendental..... virtually by definition.

Is Donald Trump transcendental? Yes, but just don’t tell him that...... he might have a stroke.

Chivo is now so big on knowing thyself....... it wasn’t that many moons ago that that Chivo was in denial of the self.  

Is this progress?  I’m not so sure.  

chick’s radical disagreement with Chivo is that we cannot know the self, just by our lonesome.  

There is only one self, and we can only get there by triangulation on our 10^10 persons.  

Does this mean that we could not sit down and have a beer with the cosmic self?  

No, it does not.  The jguy came here mainly just to make that point.  

All the rest of it was pretty much just so much window dressing.  

Vicarious atonement.........?  Yah, stuff like like that.  

This is what personalism is all about, sports fans ..... ain’t the cold!

Guests have arrived including both Ambassadors. They all entered without opening doors. Some are working with the Moors. Cheese all around, and Odyssey of Floors.

In other words, everything is nominal.

Briefings having been completed. Visitors have been seated. Time and space have been cheated. Advocations for the chicken have been defeated. Proposed disclosure has been defeated. Something unexpected was secreted.

I wonder who it is who believes they have defeated Disclosure.  

Perhaps they believe that they have also defeated the best possible world.  

I guess that’s possible, but unlikely, certainly in my estimation.  

The BPW will necessarily entail the Mother of All Paradigm Shifts.  

But the MoAPS does not necessarily entail any particular means of disclosure.  

I have spoken frequently of the benefit of a word of mouth Disclosure (WoM/MoAPS).   

It has been noted that consistently foot has adopted a political posture with regard to any Disclosure process, while I have attempted to be neutral.  

In as much as laissez faire, libertarian conservatism aligns with social Darwinism, I necessarily take strong exception.  

After Disclosure, society will tend towards communalism, away from capitalism...... as we head for the Omega.  

But, in the meantime, any political utopian schemes are very liable to be ill-founded.  

Communalism will arise spontaneously, in as much as we can envision this historical flow toward the Omega.  

This is where we will have to be able to articulate the Telos..... the Source, and understand human history within that context.  

This is the essence of the best possible world.  

Exactly how this understanding (MoAPS) comes about is a moot point.  

It will be dramatic, when viewed in retrospect, but the prospect could be much less so.

Were I not so ill-suited to the task, someone might actually have taken me seriously, God forbid.
