We were unable to come up with any action items...... for the Princess or for anyone else.

The main consequence of Darwinism has been social Darwinism, which has been a force behind the worst excesses of capitalism.  

Many suppose that the worst excesses of capitalism and Marxism are less than the excesses of religion.  

That is certainly debatable.  

I would have to include nationalism/fascism along with Marxism.  

You might counter with secular humanism, but that is not proving that it can withstand those others.  

And I really don’t want to get into utilitarianism.  

It is pointless to discuss the utility of love and truth.

How to understand this paradox?

If we can think well, we can heal much disease.

To think well is to be more conscious.

What is consciousness?

Love, beauty, unity and community.

No image or word could capture being.

We became conscious of our image and were banished from Paradise.

If no choice, no evil.

To be gods, we have power of choice and all the lessons that life brings.

I say that not desiring to be a god, but to be whole.

Deep thinking/being is painful.

Is consciousness worth it?

Is having integrity worth it?

To name a thing correctly, can grant some power over it.

That is what all the Underworld stuff is about.

To bring light to the depths.

You can only survive that journey with your integrity.

This is the nature of our relationship with the Abyss.

We can allow the shadow to be met in consciousness.

Or we can destroy it, hide it, this gives evil a hold.

What we hide will torment us.

True disease is not from the unconscious but in errant conscious thinking.

The mind avoiding pain.

I choose to exercise my authority over my self.

To rise above simplistic thinking in your time and superficiality is to find your genius.

The more conscious we are, the more powerful, to what end?

Nothing can remove all mystery.

To know with what?

I feel this unseen reveals herself to us through our unconscious.

Why come here to evolve what doesn’t change?

Because this aspect does change.

Learning is not simple and straight forward.

Scientists are empiricists and they think the best way to know is to have controlled experiences.

Do we control this life?

What do we really know worth while from science?

From models of life which actually end up having their own existence as well with us.

Is life not just then a learning machine?

A way to make a Star?

To find our place in the unseen?

The malleable part of us has its nature.

To love and face the pain of life with integrity is the best we can maybe do.

What does she want?

For us to learn.

Look at how life’s stories shape us.

Perhaps you are still compromised by your pain Dan.

Expose it.

Face it.

Embrace it.

And then you shall be one with paradise again.

I suppose that this is related, in part, to my 30 years with Foot and, specifically, with the vegas incident, for instance.  

However, more generally, if there is a God, she would have to have similar associations.  

There would be a strong temptation to put that history behind us, and start over with a clean slate.  

But where is the integrity in denying history?  

The only integrity comes in supposing there is a reason for everything, and that we, all, are an essential part of the cosmic reason.  

If we want Truth, we each have to deal with all of it.  

Walking away from history, has all the integrity of a hit and run driver.

God feels our pain...... feels the weight of history. The Creator is not apart from the creatures.
