Joshu detests abstract concepts such as "the Way," "the

at anything, you have already missed it." Many years later, when a
young monk came from far away to ask Joshu for his "teaching,"
Joshu replies, "You have just entered the gate. Well then, let me
spit in your face."

Nothing is ever truly silent, just vibrating at different wavelengths.

Your body is emitting photons right now in the infrared.

I can’t say we will merge into nothing.

I am surrounded by all things.

But inside, underneath, I am groundless.

What I do and what happens is part of the same process.

From here it all flows.

Like a spring erupting in a desert.

You are not born, nor will you die.

You happen.

To have a point is to have a purpose, to be is the point, entanglement is the meaning.

To entangle is to confuse.

Look at how things are entangled then.

Is it so depressing not have a point?

Clinging to ideas and thoughts, to stories, isn’t the way.

Eros will dissolve your connections.

Not too much then, just enough.

The ego is vicious and diabolical.

I had to doubt all of it and even my self.

We literally are made of serpents.

We are the expression of our DNA.

Today I was lying in bed and I saw someone stoking ashes in a crematorium, they were my ashes.

I saw the bones breaking down, I saw the red coals of my bones.

I saw the iron pokers being used to separate the sections not burned right down.

Imagining your cremation is very strange.

It happened spontaneously.

I looked at my ashes in the urn after and I thought, ah, my life reduced to nothing.

It was very satisfying.

Follow your bliss.
