This is a strange dream being human.

In response to Dan’s recent post about covens and cooperation.

I have been recruited by some of these groups, the last one was the Gnostic church of America.

The leader is quite brilliant.

But alas, I don’t join groups.

We had a nice dialogue.

He is a Thelemite as well.

It takes years and years to work your way through these orgs.

They think 95% of humans do not have the intelligence or discipline to access the inner sanctum.

They fight between themselves non-stop.

They wont be cooperating as far as I can see.

They definitely won’t be opening to muppets.

I see no need to get involved with such groups.

Just be kind to those you meet.

Practice awareness and cultivate love.

Be like a fox and a dove.

Pass on what you have learned, which is actually learning to unlearn what you know, to the few open to receive it.

That’s enough.

There will be no mass opening and awakening imho.

But anything is possible.

Dan says I’m full of myself and a snob, but he simply doesn’t know me, I love being judged by those who don’t know.

Gives me a little inner smile how clueless they are and judging.

Judging won’t get you here.

I am open to all I meet who are sincere and naked and not hiding behind their delusions and plans and predictions.

I invest my heart in a few people all the time.

They come in and out of my life.

And those who have something to show me too come in and out of my life.

To those who are here and open to the moment.

It takes focus, discipline and hard work.

Knowing and living your will is the highest calling I think of a human being.

Most just are not up to this in our generation.

I will give folks a hint.

If you settle down and hang around certain watering holes on the internet or locally in your area and show yourself to be intelligent and open and powerful, you will have a chance to join groups of like minded folks.

But I would ask, what do they have, you need?

If one is open and naked, the universe will bring all you need and show you that what is in you is greater than foolishness in the world.

It takes a human being in touch with their will to walk that path.

To commune with the inner fire is the end and beginning of it.

No one can compare to that.

No one will know your ecstasy.

If you talk about it, muppetz will hate and ridicule you, or crucify you if they can.

They will be jealous and look for reasons to separate themselves from you.

Now, it is good to have the council of ones more experienced than you time to time.

Anyone can benefit from friends.

Be that friend to others, watch what happens.

If you seek a friend, be a friend.

I think true friendship is a precious gift in life few find.

If you are weak, spend time with a guru or group, can’t hurt unless you idolize the guru or beliefs of others.

Falling prey to a con artist is very instructive, in so many ways.

As long as you don’t drink the cyanide koolaid or get crucified, it can be a good learning experience.

There has been an infection of the world, like covid has infected us, of certain human beings very lost in this trump and end times apocalyptic insanity.

Lost in a vicious spirit of human hating human, wanting to kill those who disagree.

I do not think anyone can say this is the end time.

It may take a DNS for us to be able to switch sides.  

This global DNS may surely rise to biblical proportions……. I think they refer to it as the Tribulation…….. just guessing, here!  

Of course, there are those who game the system by playing both sides against the middle.

It’s called the Coverup.  

And we have the best possible Coverup……. until the stars finally align.

That final alignment is referred to by the Gnostics as ‘thunder perfect mind’…….. as lightning from one end of the Earth to the other …… it’s ‘just’ the Internet, sports fans .

And it likely has something to do with the Rapture.  

That might be the scary part.

We might also think of it as internalizing the spirits.

So the Will of the One.

How can a transcendent source have the faculty of will.

This is Plotinus’ question.

It is itself and unified he says.

But he argues, of course the one has a Will and caring of all.

The world seems disharmonious.

How could this place have emanated from nous?

He said it could only be this way, which the good/one willed.

I’m tempted to say this is above my pay grade, but is it?

Isn’t this dualistic of Plotinus?

Tripartite tractate in the Nag Hammadhi library also suggests the transcendent has to have a Will.

So we say as human beings, huh?

Once a logos principle decided to go beyond the pleroma.

The emanation must divide the appearances.

Why is there strife in the world?

Because we are outside of the pleroma, it can only be this way.

The bad ones are overseers.

All does the Will of the one.

It must be such and like this the tractate says.

All is governed by Logos.

If source has no Will, Plotinus would have none of it.

These are not topics I occupy myself with usually.

But this is what the Will of the one brought to me today.

So what is up to us?

So yes, we are in the middle of a right brain left brain war.

We literally have two different worlds happening.

And the connections between the brain hemispheres is decreasing.

Most of the popular knowledge about the brain 🧠 hemispheres is not true.

They work together quite a bit.

The left brain is actually more likely to get angry than the right, it is not emotionless.

The left brain is getting more of the control these days and this reflects in societal instability.

Our biology is driving our division.

So one can rebalance their brain and this is what I feel the benefit of enlightenment is.

Parts of our brains we used in previous ages it is theorized is not used the same way now.

We have a lot of biological baggage.

I had a conversation with a fully radicalized mother today.

She seemed insane to me.

Completely off kilter, ready to shoot people.

Feeling the other side was pure evil.

She was literally insane in my estimation.

She had a brick wall up against every path to reason.

She repeated one trope after another not knowing why she believed what she believed.

We have to see that these people’s brain are wired differently.

And there is much violence.

These people are foaming to kill the enemy.

It hurt me deeply to see someone suffering so much, so angry, so scared.

And she had no idea it was her own brain at war with itself that was likely driving her imbalance.

I took an apolitical position and suggested love your neighbor and work out your differences.

She would have none of that.

Insisting that Jesus wants a war.

No, Jesus doesn’t want a war.

Other muppets have taken advantage of this left right brain war.

Themselves a victim of their own brain 🧠 war.

These are theories, but Ian McGilchrist has a lot of evidence and is being listened to now in many fields.

He is trying to get to the root of our conflict.

If one has not studied the biology and neurology and philosophy of this, they are not seeing clearly.

The Master, the right brain will, sends out the left brain to check out the environment, but the left brain takes over, thinks it is alone, but it was always the servant.

Reductionism is a disease possibly.

Equal time needs to be given to science reason intuition and imagination.

The left brain’s mechanistic view is unbalanced and destructive ultimately.

Yes, how do you put Humpty Dumpty back together again?

I think there are ways.

The master has made a way back for the emissary.

So this is where Dan and I make peace?

We put our brains back together.

I posted Thunder Perfect Mind poem awhile ago.

My own mind, the master, made a sneaky move to bring the emissary, my ego, back home.

It took Ayahuasca for me.

And then the healing was facilitated through creativity and embracing the abyss, the master.

That putrid brown tea helped heal my mind.

I know now the mother I met in that world was my master and I had to accept I was the wayward emissary.

She brought me back.

She brought me back to myself.

And it has been a wonderful marriage again.

Where I was split and feeling alone, I now rest and have peace.

The contrast is astounding.

Instant Zen (Foyan) #24: Seeing Mind

“As soon as you rationalize, it's hard to understand; you must refrain from rationalization before you can attain realization.

Hearing such talk, some people immediately declare, "I have nothing to say at all, and no reason either." They do not realize this is in fact a rationalization!

I will settle something for you right now: the ultimate rule is to see your own mind clearly. This is what Buddhism is, as far as I am concerned.

An ancient said, "The mind does not know itself, the mind does not see itself." So how can you see it clearly?

Even though it's your own mind, it's hard to see. All the sages since time immemorial have been people who clearly saw their own minds. My late teacher was someone who saw his own mind, but among those here who were also associated with him in the past, there are very few who clearly see their own minds.

Mind does not see mind; to get it, you must not see it as mind. This is a realm apart from thoughts.

Now if I say this to people, they think I am criticizing everyone else, but if I do not talk about it, it will be hard to elucidate. Zen teachers of a certain type say to people , "Fools! Why don't you understand this thing?" First they make a cliche of "your own mind," then try to use the mind to realize it; this is called driving a spike into a stump and then running around and around the stump. They pass it on this way, and it is taken up this way, knocking on their chairs and holding up their whisks. This is called trying to use the mind by means of the mind.

There is another type of Zen teacher who tells people not to make logical assessments, that they lose contact the minute they speak, and should recognize the primordial. This kind of "teacher" has no explanation at all. This is like sitting on a balloon—where is there any comfort in it? It is also like the croaking of a bullfrog. If you entertain such a view, it is like being trapped in a black fog.

I am exhorting you in utter seriousness; I am not lying, I am not making up rationalizations to trap people, I will not allow people to oppress the free. I have no such reasons. If you recognize this, that is up to you. If you say you also see this way, that is up to you. If you say that everything is all right according to your perception, that is up to you; If you say your mind is still uneasy, that is up to you. You can only attain realization if you don't deceive yourself.

There are quite a few Zen teachers in the world, talking about Zen, talking about Tao. Do you think they are self-deceived, or not self-deceived? Do you think they are deceiving others, or not deceiving others? It is imperative to discern minutely.

In the old days, when I was in the school of my late teacher, I once accepted an invitation to go somewhere. On the way I ran into a downpour and slipped in the mud. Feeling annoyed, I said to myself, "I am on the journey but have been unable to attain Zen. I haven't eaten all day, and now have to endure this misery too!" Then I happened to hear two people ranting at each other, "You're still annoying yourself!" When I heard this, I suddenly felt overjoyed. Then I realizied I couldn't find the state where there is no annoyance. That was because I couldn't break through my feeling of doubt. It took me four or five years after that to attain this knowledge.

Now you should exercise your attention in this way. I have brought up the saying that inanimate things teach, but many are those who misunderstand. When you see inanimate things, you say they're inanimate, and when you see animate beings you consider them animate.

If you who study Zen do not understand the teaching of the inanimate, how can you understand the task of the journey? If those who act as teachers do not understand the teaching of the inanimate, how can they deal with people in beneficial ways?

I urge you to examine closely enough to effect an awakening. If you do not yet have an awakened perspective, then approach it in a relaxed manner; do not rush.”
