The previous attempt.....  the ‘Bj-Gz’ thread.... can no longer be posted to, for some unknown reason...... only the existing posts can be edited.

Perhaps this was a cosmic glitch...... called stop the press.... while we consider the following possible flaw in the BPWH......

I have to wonder whether the simultaneous appearance of the like-buttons, on each post, is your exercising of administrative functions in lieu of Cy.  

I don’t know about anyone else, but I do find these buttons to be intrusive, and not in the spirit of open mindedness.

Word usage will need to be re-examined, in the light of an impending MoAPS...... the anticipated Mother of All Paradigm Shifts.

Yes, the opportunity that all of us have, automatically, to participate in Creation is the biggest miracle of all.

But this fact does beg the question of free will, and how free will may be exercised in the best possible world BPW.  

I mean, I’m a big fan of John Wheeler’s Participatory Universe, but how exactly is it that we are participating........?  

It from bit symbolizes the idea that every item of the physical world has at bottom — a very deep bottom, in most instances — an immaterial source and explanation; that which we call reality arises in the last analysis from the posing of yes-no questions and the registering of equipment-evoked responses; in short, that all things physical are information-theoretic in origin and that this is a participatory universe.

 
This is ok, but understand that bits of information don’t exist in the BPW.  ‘It from bit’ suggests that our world is being constructed from the bottom up.

Dan, I didn't add the "Like" buttons but if they are going to remain up there, one would hope that some improvement could be made in the "design" dept. lol

If that could be changed, I have nothing against the concept.

I'll check out the hosting company to find out more about them. Am wondering if they added this feature to all of the forums.

Update: Just checked this out and those "buttons" have been added to all of the forums. One must have access to the forum's graphic design codes to get rid of them. Cy would have to be contacted to resolve this issue.
Having said this, it looks like the buttons can't be customized to fit the forum... at least at the present time.
