Don’t ask how I came across this, it was a coincidance.

They showed up in the wrong century. An account from 1561, introduced to modernity by Carl Jung in his UFO book.

"In the morning of April 14, 1561, at daybreak, between 4 and 5 a.m., a dreadful apparition occurred on the sun, and then this was seen in Nuremberg in the city, before the gates and in the country – by many men and women. At first there appeared in the middle of the sun two blood-red semi-circular arcs, just like the moon in its last quarter. And in the sun, above and below and on both sides, the color was blood, there stood a round ball of partly dull, partly black ferrous color. Likewise there stood on both sides and as a torus about the sun such blood-red ones and other balls in large number, about three in a line and four in a square, also some alone. In between these globes there were visible a few blood-red crosses, between which there were blood-red strips, becoming thicker to the rear and in the front malleable like the rods of reed-grass, which were intermingled, among them two big rods, one on the right, the other to the left, and within the small and big rods there were three, also four and more globes. These all started to fight among themselves, so that the globes, which were first in the sun, flew out to the ones standing on both sides, thereafter, the globes standing outside the sun, in the small and large rods, flew into the sun. Besides the globes flew back and forth among themselves and fought vehemently with each other for over an hour. And when the conflict in and again out of the sun was most intense, they became fatigued to such an extent that they all, as said above, fell from the sun down upon the earth 'as if they all burned' and they then wasted away on the earth with immense smoke. After all this there was something like a black spear, very long and thick, sighted; the shaft pointed to the east, the point pointed west. Whatever such signs mean, God alone knows. Although we have seen, shortly one after another, many kinds of signs on the heaven, which are sent to us by the almighty God, to bring us to repentance, we still are, unfortunately, so ungrateful that we despise such high signs and miracles of God. Or we speak of them with ridicule and discard them to the wind, in order that God may send us a frightening punishment on account of our ungratefulness. After all, the God-fearing will by no means discard these signs, but will take it to heart as a warning of their merciful Father in heaven, will mend their lives and faithfully beg God, that He may avert His wrath, including the well-deserved punishment, on us, so that we may temporarily here and perpetually there, live as his children. I for one enjoy and tremble at the gods. They are awesome and I’m glad I spent some time with them. I can’t explain it, but I know kinda what they did to me.

They just kept throwing things and I kept just swinging away. I barely if known them, but I count my self fortunate.

I am a child to them.

A naive.

A plaything.

I saw them.

They saw me see them.

I am another mind that may lend them light.

Am I a man dreaming about gods or are the gods dreaming me?

Life is to be enjoyed and it is good.

Let’s toast to the goodness of life.

To the trickery of the gods!

To the eternal fruit.

An immortal has no way for death to enter them.

Perhaps one must become fictional.

One must imagine themselves onto Mt. Olympus.

I do not think the gods are done with me yet.

I cannot ignore them as we have.

This is play.

Perhaps the price of entry into their world, as apparently real as ours, is insanity in this one.

Perhaps they are the riders of the beasts.

We are king of the beasts and their favorite pets perhaps.

We exist overtly, other forms, covertly.

I suspect the covert enables the existence of the overt.

Is the Tao God?

It is more a matrix, a substrate.

How could that not be Love?

A principle that guides our unfoldment.

The plan was set for us, but we have to unfurl our sail and get into the boat and go.

I had a line come to me, am I a god dreaming I’m a human or a human dreaming I’m a god.

I’ve just been free ranging tonight as goats will do.

The gods vibrated back this random hit from a random link on the arcane archive.

Once I dreamed that I was a taoist monk
experiencing the beauty of the Way.

I enjoyed nonaction as a taoist monk,
not knowing I was Mu.
Suddenly I awoke and was surprised
to be myself again.
Now how can I tell whether I was an Immortal

who dreams she is an Immortal?
Between Hsi Wang Mu and the taoist monk
there must be differentiation.
Yet in the dream nondifferentiation takes place.

Interesting Smelly! I knew about the Nuremberg dog fight but I was unaware that Carl Jung was the one who popularised it.

Believe me, this is bigger than me or you, but about this all.

It is the most seductive stuff power.

But the way is to purify yourself to allow the power to not be absorbed but to floooowwwww over and through you and into the world and the rest just takes care of itself.

I suspect I will be overwhelmed for a bit with coincidances, the flood is already rising.

A fire is kept lighted behind them and in front of it people pass back and forth carrying various objects, so that all the prisoners can see is moving and flickering shadows cast on the wall in front. These shadows, being all they can see, define the world of their words and thoughts, so that when they believe they are naming a thing they are naming only its shadow. But suppose one of them were suddenly freed and made to look out at the real world beside him. His eyes would be dazzled and hurt by the light, he would see nothing familiar, nothing he saw would make any sense, and he would want to sit down again and face the familiar shadows. The soul, says Socrates, is like an eye. When it looks toward the Heaven of truth and beauty it knows them and understands them, but when it looks into our world of becoming and passing away it has no knowledge but only opinions that change and change again. The Good is to the soul as the sun is to the eye, and Plato carries the analogy further: just as the sun sustains all of Nature's life and growth, so the Good, through its action in the ideal world, is the cause of all things in our world; "it causes their state of being, though the Good itself is stronger and more venerable than being."

The ancients called the saving word the Logos, an expression of divine reason. So much unreason / was in man that he needed reason to be saved. Where the light seemed to the child a distant star from the depths, now it seems to be descending.

But we are all connected, yes.

Because we are connected, they work.
