A last entry...
I’m living for no resurrection personally.
I have no end or beginning.
History may suggest such.
Knowing is resurrection.
For I am alive now, reborn in Apollo’s bosom
Instead of saying ‘the’, I say my or our now.
Existentialism is a powerful tool in our post-modern age.
I feel it our best way to approach phenomena, our apparent life.
Obvious, right?
Like duh, we fucked it all up.
We are on trial with no hands on wheel.
We didn’t blow ourselves up yet.
In such a life, to live under threat of destruction is utter lunacy.
But any crazier than appearing here?
Death’s off switch?
WTF are we doing?!
Most of us really have no idea how our world ‘really’ works mostly still.
But we have flashes of genius that keep our show going.
Sigh, to abide it all is too much.
Just keep your nose clean and be ready seems like good advice.
Don’t sweat it.
But why can’t they all see it and lay their money and religious books, including science, and weapons down?!
Why isn’t everyone eating their own tails?
Remove these suits of delusion we wear and come out into Dawn.
I do love that philosophy exists in our chaos.
I am zeroed in on the earliest history I can suss out.
There is a deep pattern I perceive unfolding, self creation.
That’s feeling and being Big Love.
I for one am fortunate to be here and I know it!
I feel to show Apollo I hear him.
I feel him.
I love our gods, the Daimon looms large in my psyche.
I know I must rise to meet it on my mountain.
Emotions are just our outer barrier.
The gods are foundational principles within us.
They allow me to walk amongst our mighty trees of earth.
I clear my mind of delusions everyday.
It felt like I could never empty all water out of our boat.
I was sinking fast.
At a certain point, things just cleared up.
Logos/Consciousness calmed the storm.
We are self-referential and self-organizing and self-replicating.
This is our Ouroboros.
A great model for knowing thyself.
“Helen of Troy laments: "for generations still unborn/we will live in song" (appearing in the song itself).
Self-reference in art is closely related to the concepts of breaking the fourth wall and meta-reference, which often involve self-reference. The short stories of Jorge Luis Borges play with self-reference and related paradoxes in many ways.
Various creation myths invoke self-reference to solve the problem of what created the creator. For example, the Egyptian creation myth has a god swallowing his own semen to create himself. The Ouroboros is a mythical dragon which eats itself.“
Oh our Treachery of Images!
We destroy and create thy self over and over.
Certainly mysterious.
But mystics are mostly liars and self deluded egomaniacs in my experience
Language is hard to use well.
I can’t say I’ve mastered it.
Nor ever will.
But I can take apart most silly arguments against know thyself.
This is true wisdom.
That my ancients felt such a way gives me hope and in a way makes me proud of what humanity is capable of.
I say we are worth life and being.
We must carve ourselves out of a block of stone.
Why does this burn so strongly within me?!
I cannot say.
I am silent.
Shhhhhhhh
