Where did all the Open Minds Forum members go?

Fri Oct 19, 2012 12:29 pm by Admin

With Open Minds Forum restored now for almost half a year at it's new location with forumotion.com we can now turn to look at reaching out to OMF's original members who have not yet returned home. OMF's original membership was over 6,000 members strong, prior to the proboards suspension, according to the rolls of the time. We can probably safely assume that some of those accounts were unidentified socks. If we were to assume a reasonable guess of maybe as many as 30% possible sock accounts then that would leave potentially somewhere between 4800 to 4900 possible real members to locate. That is still a substantial number of people.

Who were all these people? Some were average individuals with common interests in ufology, exopolitics, globalism, corruption, earthchanges, science and technology, and a variety of other interests. Some just enjoyed being part of a vibrant and unusually interesting community. Others were representative of various insider groups participating in observation and outreach projects, while still others were bonafide intelligence community personnel. All with stake in the hunt for truth in one fashion or another. Some in support of truth, and communication. Others seeking real disclosure and forms of proof. And others highly skeptical of anything or limited subjects. The smallest division of membership being wholly anti-disclosure oriented.

So where did these members vanish to? They had many options. There are almost innumerable other forums out there on the topics of UFO's or Exopolitics, the Unexplained, and Conspiracy Theory. Did they disappear into the world-wide network of forum inhabitants? Did some go find new homes on chatrooms or individual blogs? Did they participate in ufo conventions or other public events and gatherings? How about those who represented groups in special access? Or IC and military observers? Those with academic affiliations? Where did they all go and what would be the best way to reach out and extend an invitation to return?

And what constitutes a situation deserving of their time and participation? Is the archive enough? How exactly do people within the paradigm most desire to define a community? Is it amenities, humanity or simply population size for exposure? Most of the special guests have been emailed and have expressed that population size for exposure is what most motivates them. But not all. Long-time member Dan Smith has other priorities and values motivating his participation. Should this open opportunities for unattached junior guests who have experience and dialog to contribute to the world? How best to make use of OMF's time, experience and resources?

Many skeptics would like to see the historical guardian of discourse opportunity to just up and disappear; go into permanent stasis. They think that not everyone has a right to speak about their experiences and if there is no proof involved then there can philosophically be no value to discourse. I personally would respectfully disagree with them. Discourse has always been the prelude to meaningful relationships and meaningful mutual relationships have always been the prelude to exchanges of proof. In a contentious social environment with regards to communication vs disclosure how do we best re-establish a haven for those preludes? Is it only the "if we build it they will come" answer? Well considering OMF has been largely fully functional over the last four or five months this line of reasoning is not necessarily true. So what would be the best way re-establish this? Your suggestions are sought. Please comment.

And, wait again, how does egolessnes differ from being born again.....?

It differs only superficially.  The form may appear very different, but not the underlying cause.

    Personal realization of truth.........?

    I’m arriving back in Baltimore.........

    Cy,

At this point, it’s my best guesstimate that every issue is a portal issue.

Another way to look at this is to say that Adam and Eve were not kicked out of the Garden.  No, they were kicked down the rabbit hole.  And not just any rabbit hole either.  We’ll have to think of a name for the one we’re in....... it’s our favorite rabbit hole. Most think we actually live here, but that’s just an illusion.

I subscribe t the concept that everything is connected and all individuals are a part of the whole.  It's ALL CONSCIOUS...but there are degrees of complexity in the individual parts.  Choice; free will matters in direction of development in complexity of consciousness and interconnectedness.  In my reckoning there is no such thing as an absolute.  There can be no justness to a law,
no power in a law, unless it is found within the realm of the natural world.  Do quarks respond to thought waves?  Grin.  Yeah.  I don't see the patterns around me as hard-fast 'reality' in the scientific sense but rather as a realm filled with possibilities & probabilities which we define as "potential".  Across the currents of 'potential' we strive for excellence in all things which in turn leads to All-Being...the continually developing complexity of consciousness to become totally aware and knowledgeable in all things and states of being.  Excellence is the old-world celtic concept of Virtue.  Our face value as individuals is not determined by ourselves but rather by our people.  Thus virtue is not necessarily something you are but something you strive for.

Is the mind capable of commanding matter?  Yes
Do only humans construct the reality around us?  Not only us.  All other beings contribute.
Did some part(s) of the construct of reality exist prior to our presence?  Yes.
What makes humanity unique among beings?  Per a "Other"** respondent:  our easy ability to interconnect with other beings and creatures resulting in positive relationships.

Three purposes for the return of souls to this world : To collect into the soul the properties
of all being , to acquire knowledge of all things , to acquire the power to overcome chaos.

    **Other: non-human observer.

There are very few who can navigate their way out of that wabbit hole...I can.

My sister died a few years ago.
I had a dream of leading Her through portal doorways to where luminous beings were loading the departed onto ships.

    They screamed out....
"How is a hairy one here"

"You shouldn't be able to come here, and I don't know the way back"

I do I explained, and took Her and the luminous one to Bridlington, where We used to holiday.

    I kissed My sister goodbye.
To wake up to the phone ringing in the middle of the night .
My sister husband informing Me of Her passing.

He was amazed when I knew, and said to not worry, She was very happy, and out of pain.

She had actually come and kissed Me goodbye, on the seafront at Bridlington.

Thanks 99. I really appreciate it. I always felt bad that it took so long for us to get it all done and set up leaving so many in limbo while we figured out how. I'd never set up a forum before. Done a few websites but nothing like this before.

Across the Katechon there is a widening rift, as chips off of the monad approach the mother of all paradigm shifts. Many will soon be enlightened and thrilled, as they learn that God’s promises are gradually being fulfilled.

Eric Garza will have to answer his creator’s call, and accept that this really is a small and personal world after all. He and others may experience remorse, but worry not, as this is the best possible world, and in the end we’ll all have to return back to the source.

UFO disclosure works a little something like this ...

Fate of secret satellite a mystery amid reports of possible failure

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/spacex-falcon-9-rocket-zuma-satellite-possible-failure/

SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwellafter said, "After review of all data to date, Falcon 9 did everything correctly on Sunday night. ... Due to the classified nature of the payload, no further comment is possible."

But the Wall Street Journal quoted unnamed sources Monday saying "the secret payload ... is believed to have plummeted back into the atmosphere ... because it didn't separate as planned from the upper stage of the rocket."

The reports were at odds with the U.S. catalog of orbital payloads, which listed Zuma as USA 280. In addition, amateur satellite trackers believe the second stage re-entered the atmosphere where it was expected to end its mission, indicating a normal flight plan.

Greetings SmokeHigh 56, I was responding to your first post, then you posted this and some how I lost my other one. To repeat,

"Hi" from another Newbie.I have been reading through the old posts trying to get up to speed. I don't want to step on Dan's thread here, things seem to be picking up.

I have to admit I don't know, at this time where to talk about that subject, still learning my way 'round. You are not alone, I don't have much by way of answers but once we find the right time, the right place I will time you about the time I was missing from _work_ for about an hour. Not my best day. There are good people here.
    take care!
