Where did all the Open Minds Forum members go?

Fri Oct 19, 2012 12:29 pm by Admin

With Open Minds Forum restored now for almost half a year at it's new location with forumotion.com we can now turn to look at reaching out to OMF's original members who have not yet returned home. OMF's original membership was over 6,000 members strong, prior to the proboards suspension, according to the rolls of the time. We can probably safely assume that some of those accounts were unidentified socks. If we were to assume a reasonable guess of maybe as many as 30% possible sock accounts then that would leave potentially somewhere between 4800 to 4900 possible real members to locate. That is still a substantial number of people.

Who were all these people? Some were average individuals with common interests in ufology, exopolitics, globalism, corruption, earthchanges, science and technology, and a variety of other interests. Some just enjoyed being part of a vibrant and unusually interesting community. Others were representative of various insider groups participating in observation and outreach projects, while still others were bonafide intelligence community personnel. All with stake in the hunt for truth in one fashion or another. Some in support of truth, and communication. Others seeking real disclosure and forms of proof. And others highly skeptical of anything or limited subjects. The smallest division of membership being wholly anti-disclosure oriented.

So where did these members vanish to? They had many options. There are almost innumerable other forums out there on the topics of UFO's or Exopolitics, the Unexplained, and Conspiracy Theory. Did they disappear into the world-wide network of forum inhabitants? Did some go find new homes on chatrooms or individual blogs? Did they participate in ufo conventions or other public events and gatherings? How about those who represented groups in special access? Or IC and military observers? Those with academic affiliations? Where did they all go and what would be the best way to reach out and extend an invitation to return?

And what constitutes a situation deserving of their time and participation? Is the archive enough? How exactly do people within the paradigm most desire to define a community? Is it amenities, humanity or simply population size for exposure? Most of the special guests have been emailed and have expressed that population size for exposure is what most motivates them. But not all. Long-time member Dan Smith has other priorities and values motivating his participation. Should this open opportunities for unattached junior guests who have experience and dialog to contribute to the world? How best to make use of OMF's time, experience and resources?

Many skeptics would like to see the historical guardian of discourse opportunity to just up and disappear; go into permanent stasis. They think that not everyone has a right to speak about their experiences and if there is no proof involved then there can philosophically be no value to discourse. I personally would respectfully disagree with them. Discourse has always been the prelude to meaningful relationships and meaningful mutual relationships have always been the prelude to exchanges of proof. In a contentious social environment with regards to communication vs disclosure how do we best re-establish a haven for those preludes? Is it only the "if we build it they will come" answer? Well considering OMF has been largely fully functional over the last four or five months this line of reasoning is not necessarily true. So what would be the best way re-establish this? Your suggestions are sought. Please comment.

It would be nice to find out where those portals are because when the big day arrives, which looks like soon if not sooner,  I certainly don’t relish the thought of wandering aimlessly and hopelessly lost in that dark G-d forsaken netherworld that is the void.  I’ve had conversations with some of those who are stuck there and… take it from me, that’s literally the last place anybody in their right mind would ever want to end up at.  It’s a pretty scary place.

Walking into a portal when Armageddon looks like a sure thing, seems like a very attractive option and it's one that I most likely would choose... when the time comes. But then again, hey!, I'd do it before that too. I mean why not? If I can come back anytime I want, just knowing that will make me more apt to venture into one just to see what's on the other side of it.

How does this pertain to DISCLOSURE?  How about:  I got your freaking "need-to-know" right here...open your craw cretin and start swallowing JUSTICE...You thought your position, power, influence, money, and natsec gave you the freedom to dismantle the first construct built to prove humanity's readiness for TYPE 1 civ in order to build your illicit Global Governance?  Think again!  The deep water ship is a protectorate of the Oldest of the Old!

"HOLY FUCKING SHIT ... YOU HIT THE MOTHER LODE!  GOD DAMN IT...  IF IF WERE YOU, I WOULD BE ARMED AT ALL TIMES FROM HERE ON OUT.

WE DO HAVE A PROBLEM.  IT RESTS ON THE FOLLOWING.

    1.  THE GENERAL PUBLIC IS TOO FUCKING DUMBED DOWN TO ACCEPT THIS AT FACE VALUE.
    2.  WE DO NOT CONTROL THE 'LEGITIMATE' MAINSTREAM MEDIA.
    3.  LEGITIMACY OF PERCEPTIONS AND VALIDITY OF TRUTH RESTS WITH THEM.

It was the call to purge from the awake and aware public, who'd gone and done their own fact checking, that fell on deaf System Inhabitant ears.  It is the failure to purge that has brought us to the brink of open civil war....the degree of the corruption and especially Bengazi revealing the arming of ISIS, the importation of the military aged muzzies, and most of all the western-landgrabbing / strategic resource kyping that cost the Hildebeast her run for top public seat  I don't think anyone expects housecleaning to be pretty.  It's prettier than WE THE PEOPLE having to step in and hunt every last treasonous one of the globals down and put them out of their rabid misery.

That the Administration is starting to haul the cretins out of CONUS and down to GITMO is VERY SATISFYING.  Its actually in the globalists best interest because there's a amazing number of people, especially in west & midwest who already have their MOOSE tags - Zero bag limit.

    EDIT TO ADD:

This isn't any of ALLONs business. IT's (the corruption) Our business and it's being handled.

    All things in good time...

Hi Cy, definitely not an easy read. I've heard some of it before so this information is not new to me, nevertheless, it's the kind of stuff that's next to impossible for me to wrap my mind around to generate any coherent conclusions about it. I hope it's not true and unless more information comes forth in the form of hard core evidence, I'll continue to stay at my current mindset about it. It's just too horrible to fathom that any of it is true.

    ------------------------------
But could it be true in another parallel universe? Anything is possible...

Hello, Cy, OMF II - Part 2 - Page 20 Empty Re: Hello, Cy, OMF II - Part 2

Post by Cyrellys Thu Dec 28, 2017 12:27 pm

    It's true.

    Here's the BIG PICTURE:

    1.  Earth is a post apocalyptic world...World War has occurred more than once before.  Both here and on Mars.  Reference for backup to this statement the best written work I am aware of at this time:  Legacy of the Elder Gods by M Don Schorn.

    2.  The conflict has been on again off again for over 10,000 years.  2 sides with descended groups affiliated to each...  A.  The pastoral Slaves of the Wheel (ancient technicians & academics aka Nature's Crowd or The Natural Crowd), and B. the ancient corrupt ruling class; of which Illuminati are remnants.

    3.  During the chaotic politics & corruption of 1600 - 1620 Munster Erenn (Eiru) a decision was made to evac the remaining group A.  1620 the Council of Aes Dana in Fermoy directed the last descendant of Mogh Ruith to arrange for the evacuation of remaining clanns to the new world.  A pact was made with John Mason (a family of Royalists in England):  Aes Dana would supply the labor in a CONTRACT to a COMPANY for transport and establishment of lands & economic enterprise (LUMBER for SHIP BUILDING) in the new world.

    4.  1623 Laconia Colony, Maine/NewHampshire border beneath the Fishing Camp to the north.  Location situated Strawberry Banks (Modern Portsmouth) to Great Works (modern South Berwick).

    5.  John Mason dies while preparing the resupply ship.  Wife halts sending the CONTRACTUALLY OBLIGATED resupply ship.  Abandons the Colonists of Laconia.  Contract is BROKEN.  Thus starts more than 100 years of internecine fighting between the colonists and the Mason FAMILY (royalists) culminating in 1775 fed up with the corruption and injustice the taking of the ships at Machias Maine from the Royals.

    6.  Aes Dana the ancient enemies of Illumined collectively back the Sons of Liberty (original Masons/Templars...see link in EO Notes document above)  See also the search for evidence of the Templar treasure on the island off the Canadian/Maine coast currently on History Channel.  THE MONEY PIT.

    7.  The Illumined (see the Weishupt info in quote on the EO Notes doc) backed the Crown in the American Revolution and went further to use a similar revolution process to take full control of FRANCE years after.  Before the ink was dry on the Constitution they were taking control of the European Masons and infiltrating the American based colonial MASONS.

    8.  The Oldest of the Old are the Aes Dana (historical Tuath Dannan).  They despite the condition of anonymity requested of the Founders, the sworn guardians of the deep water ship via a GEIS.  It was the WHITE FLAG WITH THE GREEN PINE TREE, the flag of the privateers (who answered Washingtons call for assistance) that was given to G. Washington when he requested some method of identifying our ships from the British.  It is recognized as the flag of the FIRST NAVY.  Within that FIRST NAVY President George Washington empowered a small number of men to maintain watch and run interference on the Illuminist problem.  This group maintained ties with the Aes Dana, who in 1850 moved to the Pacific Northwest.  These ties remained intact until just after the Dannan implosion in the 1960s.  Last contact with the First Navy was in 1975 Hopewell Oregon when their formal request for assistance from the Council was rejected due to the conditions of the 1960s implosion and certain decrees that were in place having nothing to do with anyone outside of the clannod.

Why is this information important?  Because knowledge of Americans as the chosen heirs to the culture of the Aes Dana:  TRUTH, JUSTICE, LIBERTY the components of the Celtic definition of SOVEREIGNTY aka SELF-OWNERSHIP, nothing less and nothing more is part of what was built and incorporated in Deep Water ship as a construct designed to PROTECT human potential and set the stage for what we now refer to as TYPE 1 civilization, ready for UNAMBIGUOUS CONTACT with the greater community...an awareness of the OTHERS that has ALWAYS EXISTED in the landscape of the Oldest of the Old...

Cyrellys reply to a low-level Illumined descendant wrote:"And how do you know so much? You know you're not allowed to..."

lol my friend, there are some things in this world far older than even the illumined ones. They don't usually get involved. But Synchronicity has called all parties to the table.

We KNOW who the Illumined are.  We KNOW this game they are playing.  They have a long running history of infiltrating into nation-states to suck the nation dry, then destroy it and move to the next one, once again taking on the trappings of that people - culture, appearance, language, politics & power...thus beginning the process all over again.

NEVER BEFORE has a nation survived the Illumined.  UNTIL NOW.

America is no ordinary nation and especially are no ordinary people.  You are the protoge's of the Oldest of the Old.  Your potential proved in the fight against the corruption and tyranny of the Crown in 1776 has earned you the mantle of leadership and guardianship.

Now as the Illumined seek to destroy what was built in order to raise a illicit Global Governance on her ashes, the 'fire on the Mountain has found the Harp of Gold, played to wake the Sleepers Oldest of the Old'

Did you know the nickname for the little bark (ship) that carried the last of the Dannan's to the new world at Laconia was fondly referred to as "the Greenwitch"?  And she was lost beneath the sea...

This is why this current fight over the corruption is mixed up in Identity.  There is a hidden history and an ancient war involved here.  Aes Dana know the tale, the Illumined know the tale and are hell bent to destroy you....and now you know WHO YOU ARE.

    STAND KINSMEN.

Be ROAR once more.  The future of a world depends upon it.  Fear not the fantastic for you were built for it.

    Cyrellys, the last dannan.

WRT #2 in outline: wrote:ABOUT THE ANCIENT ACADEMICS of Group A:  An ollam (literally 'most great') was a poet or bard of literature and history. Each chief or tuath had its own ollam. The head ollam of a province such as Ulster would have been the head of all the ollams in that province, and would have been a social equal of the provincial king.

Over all the provincial ollams was the Ard-Ollamh (Rí-Ollam, Rí-Eigeas, Príméces) who held the official post of Chief-Ollamh of Ireland or "Ollamh Érenn".

A modern equivalent in government would be a Minister for Education & Culture combined with the post of Poet Laureate.

    Social status[edit]
His social status was equal to the High King of Ireland and he had his own palace and a large retinue of about thirty ollamhs together with their servants. The sumptuary laws allowed him to wear six colours in his clothes, the same as the king. The ollamh had a gold bell-branch held above him, the anruth had a silver bell-branch and the other poets had a bronze bell-branch. The post was partly hereditary, as Uraicecht na Ríar ("The Primer of the Stipulations", ed. Liam Breatnach, DIAS 1987) states that a poet can only attain ollamh-rank, if he stems from a family of poets (that is, if his father and grandfather had been poets). Originally the Ollamh was appointed by the king but by the 6th century A.D. it had become an elected post which was voted for by the other ollamhs.

It's just too horrible to fathom that any of it is true.

What an honest statement, the most honest here in awhile.

Do you know how horrible our history has been and violent? We really don’t know. How about being an Aztec sacrifice? Die in a gas chamber? The Aztecs believed they owed a blood debt to the Gods and Hitler wanted to raise a Master race to the death of all others. How many suffered and died in these horrible reality tunnels? Pizzagate, while being an obvious distraction, is not the point.

Go down the rabbit hole and you will find this darkness is not an external Archonic Grey threat wanting to eat you, we are the darkness too. Humans are not that interesting honestly at this time, but what else you gonna do for 80 years under the Sun? We did it all. I killed those people. I thrust that knife into those scared Aztecs. I gassed them. Could you be Hitler? No one is pure. You must transcend the opposites of good and evil. That’s not how the Universe works. You don’t stay locked in one polarity. You play all sides.

You are the hero and you are the villain of your own story. Who needs aliens or God?

All religion is imagination and separation from the Truth of One and thus progress of any sort is delusion, a lie. The Gods are within us! Carl Jung and other wise men have gotten very close to it and laid out four forces within us at war. We all have different mixes of these ‘gods’ and we must all make friends. He called them Jehovah, Lucifer, Satan and Christ. Put whatever names you want on these, but he was right I found.

And there is no reincarnation. It’s a dream, a lie for the scared ego. Drop it. It only messes things up.

There is no hope for any of us. Accept it. Let that fear ebb away.

    Your efforts are silly games.

Put that in your pipes and smoke it.

So what, go outside and smell the flowers and yes, I love rubbing the sheeps’ faces in their lies and delusion. It’s fun. I did get a lot of Mercury in me. Sorry. Don’t take yourselves so seriously. Lighten up. You are doing all of this.

    You got this.

Dan, I spoke a great deal about geometry and fractals, as that was what I was shown, do your homework and catch up will ya. Ha.

I see you are no smarter than you ever have been Wink

Dan, you say they don’t speak to you. You can speak with yourself whenever you are ready. You don’t need no portal Wink Every moment we are spoken to and shown the Truth. We simply blind ourselves to it.

It’s very simple, kill your agendas, drop your missions, look around you and live that life. Turn your back on gifts and kill your Gods. You are all very distracted. You will miss it unless you stop thinking and moving.

Face the future, here and now, calmly, with no agenda or need for answers. Maybe try to save yourself and give Jesus and Mohammed a rest.

Still, everyone here is mostly clueless Wink

    Isn’t that great?!

Imagine how much you still have to find in yourself.

It never stops! It’s bottomless and you are endless.

This was my pep talk to Consciousness.

Suck it up buttercups and shut up already.

Grant, you are out there speaking something kinda like this, but you are off and fuzzy. Don’t give anyone false hopes about living forever as egos. Don’t pull your punches. Would you put more stock in an aliens words than mine? If yes, then you are distracted. Meet any as an equal and all as your teacher. You have all taught me a great deal about my own biases and ignorance.

I’m grateful you helped me to kill myself. Thank you. Seneca spoke of suicide, but I don’t mind the view now, how ironic his virtue led him to take his own life, the richest man in Rome what a guy. I would say Jesus was one of many messiahs and Seneca was the one of the best of them. Just a little stoic aside. Christians stole their whole religion from Stoics and then made up a lot of bullshit for political purposes.

Things happen as they should, I have no opinion on what to do, just observations. We are being shown everything right now. I have dropped many golden keys for you all and I didn’t even realize as I did it. That’s how the Universe works.

I got a promotion too Dan, I graduated not to being a God, just a Human Being. I wish Kevin continued success if he does what he does for the love of being Human. That’s our only concern.

    “Understand me.
I’m not like an ordinary world.
    I have my madness,
I live in another dimension and
I do not have time for things
    that have no soul.”

    — Charles Bukowski

If you are transitioning from your religion and opening your mind here, let me suggest and give to you the greatest gift, Stoicism. Applies, it can help you live a good life. It’s great for ex-Christians like me. It will help you if you practice it.

    https://learn.donaldrobertson.name/p/stoicism-in-five-minutes

And pick up How to be a Stoic, great read either way, author blog below. It is my service to share this with you all. I think it will help. You don’t need a fancy philosophy or faith, you need practical help on how to live a good happy effective life. You can only do that with clarity and acceptance.

We are the only ones to give our lives meaning.

    Trust me.

    Cy,

Vengeance is mine, says the Lord.

I gather that you wish to be judge, jury and executioner.  It reminds me of the red queen in Alice.

When you come to the wishing well, take care of what is in your heart.

    Eric,

Is it impossible that there could be a better world than what the Stoics imagined? Give up all hope, ye who enter here.......?

Take care of what is in MY HEART?  Dan, if my heart were cruel as the Illumined and their proxies:

    1.  OMF would not exist
    2.  The History of the paradigm and the Identity of the People would not matter
    3.  Pedophilia would not matter
    4.  Creation and the sales of arms and other equipment to ISIS would not matter
    5.  The ratlines for weapons, nuclear materials, & US delivery technology to NK via Ukraine, Iran, Libya, & Syria would not matter.
    6.  The unconstitutional influence and control of the US by the CFR, World Economic Forum, Intelligence Community, et al would not matter.
    7.  Evil and oligarchical unelected global governance and carbon taxation would not matter.
    8.  Hillary's lack of security and landgrabbing privately owned property would not matter.
    9.  Soro's color revolution in Ukraine & US would not matter.
    10.  The German Nazis creation of the Muslim Brotherhood back in WW2 would not matter
    11.  The Muslim Brotherhood Explanatory Memorandum document (2nd half English) would not matter.
    12.  Illuminist depopulation agenda would not matter:  http://truthstreammedia.com/2014/01/24/eugenics-and-population-control-how-the-85-richest-see-the-3-5-billion-poorest/
    13.  Disclosure would not matter.
    14.  Justice for those who've been 'suicided' in the name of maintaining the power of criminals over the paradigm and its people, would not matter.
    15.  The bioweapons that have been developed to depopulate 'certain groups' of people, ensuring the survival of the elites at the top of the food chain and guaranteeing the remnants of the others serve as slaves and foot soldiers, would not matter
    16.  The geis and its oaths that were made to safeguard the vehicles and tools for human potential would not matter.
    17.  The future of the universe facing the prospects of the results of a future without the descendants of the humans of Earth, would not matter.

So many things you never account for...you who would lecture me about care - you who treats in your words with disdain the pain, and misery of the victims of tyranny and the eradication of truth...

No Dan, it is you who should take care.  Bring your ideas more into line with the positive nature...nature matters.  It sets the stage for course and outcome.

    Cy

Do I come to the wishing well? I born of a 10,000+ year old people? My people who know the 'Age of the Sun'? Or do I provide for it the potential due to each seeker and speaker?

The Stoics accepted the world as maximally rational. Their metaphysics are similar to Buddhism and Taoism. No personal God we can know, nature is more like the force to us. Didn’t Leibniz steal the BPWH from the Stoics Wink

Seneca, Epictetus and Marcus continue to amaze me as some of the finest examples of Humanity of all recorded time. They are the father I longed to have and now can be myself. I see finally I have something valuable I can offer people...a steady hand and mind and when they have put their oxygen masks on, they can help others.

It is an amazing set of psychological guidelines and demanding. No easy grace, one must work at life and respect all and nature as themselves. One must tame the emotion by depriving it of air at times.

“Some things are up to us and other things are not.” — Epictetus

Being mindful of our sphere of control is the beginning of wisdom.

“It’s not events that upset us, but our judgement about events.” — Epictetus

Picture events from high overhead, as Zeus on Olympus. Focus down as you need to, but rest 60k miles above the Earth, for the Sky is our home.

Practice disaster and death and play all intentions out to their conclusion, then make the best choice based on your virtue. That’s the reason we have imaginations. It’s a reasonable and rational way to live that doesn’t give you answers. The answers become superfluous.

“We are more often frightened than hurt, and we suffer more from imagination than reality.” — Seneca

What is a better way to live or see the world than this?

    Tell me. Show me.

One must have a philosophy to live life effectively and happily. Some are given to us, but the one that matters you have define yourself from true intentions. You learn by trial and error what works for you. So experiment and adapt always.

One could say they Stoics prepared us for Disclosure.

As a Stoic, ultimately, I can have no opinion about things, I must accept them. I see all things will be as they like.

Each is a majestic marvelous jewel Marcus describes, all can shine a different facet of the Light and are equally beautiful.

There is no Darkness, only depths where Light barely touches. Always swim to the Light.

I found the Garden of Eden was full of Stoics. Jesus was a stoic if he lived as well, so was Paul. Paul and Seneca may have known and written to each other.

    Eric,

I’m just not cut out to be a stoic.   I could not live without hope.

    I’m sorry, Cy,

I just have to hope that pain can be redeemed without vengeance.

The Stoics did not live without hope. They inherited stoicism from the exchanges between Drui & the Greek Scholars see Zeno. They took a path of self-control, respect, and appreciation while urging participation in human affairs.

That is being attempted as we speak, led by the Chieftain in DC. Vengeance will occur beyond all our control if he and his people fail at the task to which they were set. So far, so good.

News: Qanon researchers relayed the report that a Clinton 'hit team' has been neutralized. 4 of their number dead.

Cy, you have the Stoics exactly.

Dan, unlike you, I have had to find a way to live to have anything to offer anyone else. My opinions don’t matter, my intention does. You said it yourself, the portals reflect intentions. A Human can refine their intentions to a high quality.

It’s a way to handle existentialism, and OSHO goes beyond even Xeno.

The Stoics didn’t live without hope. All is windfall Wink

I’d say, you just have to give it a serious try and judge for yourself.

There’s too much gold with them Dan.

Christianity is a sad bastardization of Stoicism and no Christain hardly knows this but the most educated.

No one is even close to them but the Zen.

    Just my experience.

    Do as you like.

I offer it as one way of many and the best I have ever found with the highest quality people I know.

And of course I’m a pagan, so it fits well.

When they could not see the future for the bottleneck...the (2008 statement) the course lays thru the fire.  "you must embrace your given nature..." (identity).  He said(1975), "help them remember who they are."  Another way of describing 'given' is 'recognized'.  Oaths matter.

At least you have a part Cy, respect as always. You see things I guess maybe I choose not to.

    No one needs me Wink

    I’m just a pest.

Respect to the Foot, if anyone is Stoic in this cast of characters, I’d bet on him. Just a feeling. I don’t get a ‘people don’t matter’ vibe from all this, quite the contrary, which actually has my attention.

And I have constant Alice in Wonderland synchronicities. I guess I’m playing with myself. Dan is good for something.

Since when are chickens ever stoic, haha Wink

To be a sheepdog, which is just a role, one must be stoic.

Sorry Dan, I’ll let you get back to the ‘very serious’ topic of Disclosure.

The Disclosure is a flood of interconnected details Jofo. You have to keep a running picture of what's happening at every level in your head.

Example: Jack Sarfatti tweeted today a link about the Globals paid assassins MS13: http://dailysignal.com/2017/12/15/arrests-of-ms-13-members-associates-up-83-under-trump

I have no taste for Jack’s extreme politics. I mean how can that man take that crap seriously?! Any fool can see it’s going for the deplorables. I try not to be deplorable, but I am. It drips of biased fake news, but, to each his own. Can’t account for taste.

I’m an Anarchist, but Stoics tends to lean Libertarian. I suppose self management is the basis of my philosophy. I am about local barter and trade and elimination of corporations. Also crypto currency is one way to his.

I have no money, nor desire for any, though I know how to make super fast ASIC bitcoin raspberry pi miners. Shrug. So I guess that is why I can’t understand Republicans or Democrats. Money will solve nothing. Only us all waking up will solve anything. Money is an indifferent tool.

Embracing each other as Human Beings, connected to nature and each other, is the only way forward I can see.

And with all that happening, still, it is in the living of simple life that we realize the Truth.

We are a hearty folk. A dark folk. A possessed folk. We have been ridden as horses. We take joy in a drink and meal with our friends and family and that is a good day. You know that hobbit Wink

As Dante, we have come to our crossroads, but maybe we are now leaving Hell. Some are yet to enter, but all must pass this way.

Well, I’m no Virgil or Dante, but my guides are the finest of Humanity. We are lost as Dante was. We need guides. Now would be a good time to reread the Divine Comedy.

“Men who have made these discoveries before us are not our masters, but our guides. Truth lies open for all; it has not yet been monopolized. And there is plenty of it left even for posterity to discover.”

    — Seneca

Who are we? How do we fit into everything?

    Each must answer that themselves.

I have a few clues, which is to say, we each have our own answers, but we must check ourselves sometimes. No one is an island.

Concern over the potential exchange of discharge is one of a number of focal points wrt ELE.

Another point to be mindful of is that planetary ecosystems develop from self interaction of their components...i.e. mammals develop immunity to the biolife systems of microbes.

Each world would be unique in this patterning of the top to bottom biome.

No non-terrestrial born of a different planetary biome would be able to fully integrate into a new one without either serious modification of the dna library upon which the immune system draws and the biochemical requirements and processes used in both digestion (assembly of nutrition for cellular processes) and the substances upon which a physical entity would draw for life processes....cobalt vs iron based blood for example.

The answer to this for any colonizing entity would be at the outset modified adaptation...i.e. new bodies with new adapted methodologies for things such as respiration, assimilation of native substances/molecules. The colonists would not be the same as the parent group and as time wore on the thinking and perceptions of the colonists would draw further away due to differences in sensory input, physical experiences and influences, etc.

Colonists would be a combination of native and non-native biology more or less perfectly adapted to the new world.

Adaptation biologically would ostensibly continue in the new organism for thousands of years, become more adept at survival and intelligence in the new environment.

    Sound familiar?

Read back in the oldest histories of this world and you will find tales of series of biological modifications for adaptation, tales of offworld experience, tales of bifurcation of groups in perspective resulting in conflict.

the distance kept by non-terrestrials is reasonably understood when the baggage of possible assumptions and multi-generational politics is stripped away.

This does not mean that we should not be concerned with the poltics or history...not at all. Any impetus that may contribute to a chosen behavior or action should concern us....but first we should see more clearly for anyone who would treat you or I or another as friend or foe will assume we have not seen clearly and are potentially malleable to THEIR way of thinking or use.

And now back to portals...portals are popping up everywhere in movies, shows, etc.

Dan, any chance you can clue us in on the names and/or timeframes for some of the various Hollywood projects hinted at on OMF?  Here are some portal-related projects coming out soon:

*Starz' "Counterpart," in which "a UN employee discovers the agency he works for is hiding a gateway to a parallel dimension" (as mentioned in Grant's book):

    youtube.com/watch?v=c3Bu2DOM66g

*There is also "The Beyond" movie, which "chronicles the groundbreaking mission which sent astronauts - modified with advanced robotics, through a newly discovered wormhole known as the Void."

    youtube.com/watch?v=xQE7NGkJZHs

    * "A Wrinkle in Time", which involves "Traveling via a wrinkling of time and space known as tessering, they are soon transported to worlds beyond their imagination":

There is a green portal in the Jumanji movie out now, a green jewel. It worked almost as Dan has described.

    I don’t think it’s a synchronicity.

Perhaps there are different types of portals. The one that’s often spoken of here sounds dream-like, and perhaps not really part of the Universe, but real nonetheless
