The value of any human life lies entirely in its infinite potential.  

And what if that potential is not realized?  

Ultimately, every potential is realized in the end, with the benefit of 20/20 hindsight.

Sorry for the delayed response. The daily grind is a thief of my time, which I'd love to spend carrying on more meaningful discussions, creating and developing my art and thoughts, loving beautiful females, and being the person I always wanted to be, amongst and handful of other bucket list entries.

It's too bad you could not find a soul to directly affect at Fulsom. Most of those guys are too worried if their woman is sleeping which Sancho, not if this is the best possible world. As of that's ever crossed their mind. i still think there's got to be one in every pod. In fact...

When I went to jail for 10 days for a drunk driving infraction 4 years ago, I decided i'd make it a positive experience. Within 2 days I had met a small group of friendly folks for whom I had many discussions, very light hearted ones, (nothing too serious) and we'd hang out on "the porch" (a set of chairs in the back corner out of sight of the guards and cameras) and tell jokes, swap non-war stories, and encourage each other. There were a few guys there that continued to wrote me after I got out and I wrote them back. One inmate said he thought I was the best person he ever met. He even called me 3 years after he got out to tell me how much i meant to him, accepting him and helping him with commissary even after I left. I did this for a few of those people, and that's almost unheard of. The point is that these people are human beings who need some sort of hope in their lives and in other humans. Most of them dont have 1 true friend, and live in a world where people could care less about their needs. Just like why they all turn to God, because they are open to suggestion, and need something more meaningful to look for. Don't give up Dan, I say try again. They need a little time to trust you is all. The BPWH is a very positive way to think. (And I decided I agree with you, btw.)

As far as Luis, he's a joke. Who pays him again? Oh yeah, everyone.

And I did NOT know you were the blue book. What is the yellow book about? Ron is certainly the red book! lol. Did you know I used to be the black book? I'd like to think I'm the white book now though.

And I wouldn't be so sure about ole Don yet. I think he may still have a whopper up his sleeve, maybe the meatless version, but still a whopper!

I’m not one of those Christians who think Armageddon is just the cat’s pajama’s so you’ll never see me doing a little tap dance of jubilee on the quaint cobble stone side walks at town square just as reports of the beginning of the end start rolling in on ABC News. No, I’ll be dropping my shopping bags right on the spot, pronto, while running, like a bat out of hell, to my car to head for the salt mines to catch the next elevator down to the lowest level while fervently praying it’s nothing but a false alarm and thinking that we’ll all be laughing our silly little heads off about it after the stunt is over only to then be squashed like a daisybug by a humongous boulder of rock salt that just fell on top of me.  

Of course, I’ll never know what hit me but while we’re on the topic, I, quite frankly, really don’t like to even think about such things and prefer instead to focus on much more important matters, like perfecting my twang for those country songs I’m singing next Saturday for Karaoke for all of the suburban cowboys and cowgirls in town who will arrive in their mini-vans as in these parts there’s not  a horse nor a cow nor a chicken  in sight… not even a barn.
