Before we ask ourselves any other questions........

Here is the #1 priority question........

Who the heck do we think we are?  

I’m not aware that this question has ever been seriously asked before.  The only precedent of which I’m aware is when it was simply posed by Paul Gauguin.  

I would not pose this question unless I thought I had the rudiments of an answer.  I’m seeking help from anyone who would be willing to participate in fleshing out the answer.

I was being facetious about astronomy.

The first thing people want to know about astronomy is whether there is life out there.

And, here, smelly wants to know about dark matter.  

He can read about dark matter on Wikipedia, and know just as much as any astronomer.

So why is he bothering us with this question?  

Where are the visitors from?

Second question....... why do they think they exist?  

Are they products of Darwinian evolution........ or something else?  

smelly is here only to prevent us from asking cosmic questions.  

Why this is........?   I wish I knew.

I’ll be glad to to speculate about Eric’s state of mind......

In the early days of his arrival at OM, he was one of the few people who was willing to give me their phone number, and then actually talk to me....... for hours on end.  

I was never reluctant to speculate with Eric about my contacts with Ron.  

After a few months, the calls decreased and his more personal interests took precedence on and off any thread where I was attempting to have philosophical/political discussions about the phenomena.  

I and others attempted to remove him from the forum on several occasions, but to little avail.  

There was something of a standoff between us.  That was the situation until my recent disavowal by Ron.  OM became my only channel for communication.  I had no choice but to focus on the standoff with smelly.  

One thing was always clear to me....... smelly was not the only who didn’t want to talk to me......

There we about 7 billion others, in one way or another, who shared smelly’s disdain for communication with me.  

But, he was the only one of those 7 billion who was still on the line.  

If I was ever going to uncover the problem, it was going to have to be with smelly.  As with Ron, I was never presented with a whole lot of choices.  


So I speculate about the communication problem, on and off the forum........

Basically, the meaning of life is not discussed outside of freshman dorms, and even there it is hardly the main topic of discussion.  

It can get tiresome very quickly...... people move on.  There are many other things to talk about.  

But boredom is not the main problem, in my estimation.  

There are other deeper issues.  

Folks feel that it is a personal/private issue.  It’s ok to listen to other people talk about it, but many are reluctant to expose their innermost feelings...... to put them up to ridicule....... to questioning or criticism, especially not in public.  

So, here we are at an intellectual, emotional grid lock.  

So what?  Is there a problem?  

Maybe...... maybe not.  

One potential problem is Disclosure, which may or may not be upon us.  

Another problem is our grappling or not grappling with our own future, regardless of any particular disclosure.  

So, fine....... I have the ultimate problem, and smelly has the ultimate answer........ let life go on, please, thank you very much.

Well, I have no conscious quarrel with anyone.

I suppose I play with my freedom, but in fun, really.

I do not see anything or know what supernatural is more or less than I know what natural is.

It is what it is.

My wife is the only one who still may raise my temper a degree or two.

I don't and won't speculate right now about where we are or aren't or what to do.

I didn't have anything to lose I guess being here as smelly.

I could let the spirit roam as it willed.

I think we did a few loopty loops and lost a lot of riders.

Disclosure is still not a topic of interest to me though.

Perhaps there is value in ones who are sensitive sharing what they feel openly.

In a world of secrets, I chose to spill all the beans.

I think I have provided a fair bit of humor and fun here, can't deny.

And challenging skeptical, absurd at times dialogue, the best kind.

But we can still be friends I think.

We have to spread our cosmic message of friendship.

Never know what might happen, best to just smile and not ask why.

I agree.  If there were a single message to transmit, that would be the most important one.  

Up to that point, you had assiduously been seeking truth.

I received the same message, back in 1977.  I came to OM to share the message, just like you.  

Up until a couple of months ago, I was prepared to share the message with the world.  Now I share it with you.  

This must be the best possible place for the best possible message.  

Here, now.  

We have each shared our message with Ack....... individually.  

Maybe we should consult with Ack...... together.  

Is any further action suggested?  

Share or not to share..... beyond what we see, here, now?  

We can go right down the list....... share or not to share?  

As you say, smelly, this has always been the message, from every world teacher....... the light is within.  

You’d think that, if we were ever going to get the message, we would have gotten it by now.  

So much for Disclosure.  

Why the visitors?  Are they seeking?  Are they sharing?

I think about hobbit, with his dowsing rods and his Fibonacci.  Is he seeking?

I think about 99, wk, Gary....... are they seeking?  

We have both been trying to share with them, each in our own way.  

Have we tried hard enough?

Increasingly, they turn to one group....... TTSA, when it comes to the search for cosmic intelligence.  

Yes...... we look down our noses.

Do you know, smelly, how far it is from TTSA to OMF?  

It’s not terribly far.

What if one of them came around....... sniffing?  

Would we act naturally?

Would we start calling them names?  

Would we or could we share?  

These are questions that come to mind...... quite naturally.

As far as stragglers that show up here, most are dumb and clueless, poor muppets.

It takes a lot of work to share 1:1, it has to be arranged by the Stars it seems.

And then we have to allow each other to possess each other.

Few are able to get so close 1:1, but those have been the most powerful interactions for me.

Ack isn’t the only 1:1 I’ve had.

I’ve shared this with a few 1:1 and they all are weird now, so maybe there is something to this 1:1 thing.

I will give my self totally to someone because we can.

And when we do, something powerful happens.

It’s kind of mysterious to me how the energy flows.
