Kevin called me.
We spoke on the phone for an hour or so and he seemed like a cool guy so I decided to just go and meet him and say Hi to Joe also. I met Joe almost a year ago and we spoke several times over the phone but it had been a while since I had said Hi to him.
I had no agenda or purpose honestly. It just happened spontaneously and I went with the flow just for fun. Just to meet Kevin and say hi to Joe. We live so close to each other and I've heard so much about Kevin but never met him so I figured, hey, why not.
We talked a little about God and a few other things but I told him I just believe in Me and doing my best to stay focused on the present and on my family and that ultimately I had to let go of all concepts because I feel they were a distractions from just being with myself here and Now in the present.
I trust that whatever I need will be given me when I need it without having to give much thought to the future or past. Love is letting go of fear and accepting the world and yourself as is here and now. The past and future do not even exist. There is only this Now.
There is only wholeness without judgment.
If you fall in love with the path, you will forget the destination.
Fall completely in love with the path.
To do this is to discover the timeless perfection to which nothing can be added, from which nothing can be taken away. In it, all desires and fears are absence, not because they were given up, but because they have lost their meaning.
"The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit." -John 3:8
In my opinion, scriptures are just words on a page, nothing more. Just fingers pointing at the moon like everything else. They are not special. Everything is special. Existence is special. Everything is a reflection. Everything is you. I am Me. I am this Now. I AM.
----------------------------------------------------------
Now to finish off with some Tao
The master has mastered nature not in the sense of conquering it, but by becoming it.
In surrendering to the Tao, in giving up all concepts, judgements, and desires, her mind has grown naturally compassionate.
She finds deep in her own experience, the central truths to the art of living, which are paradoxical only on the surface.
That the more truly solitary we are, the more compassionate we can be.
That the more we let go of what we love, the more present our love becomes.
That the clearer our insight into what is beyond good and evil, the more we can embody the good.
What is a bad man, but a good man's teacher?
What is a good man, but a bad man's job?
Until finally she is able to say, in all humility, I am the Tao, the truth, and the life.
Do not try to discover the way, the truth, and the life.
You are the way, the truth, and the life.
Okay...enough words.
I wish you all peace and tranquility.
