Where did all the Open Minds Forum members go?

Fri Oct 19, 2012 12:29 pm by Admin

With Open Minds Forum restored now for almost half a year at it's new location with forumotion.com we can now turn to look at reaching out to OMF's original members who have not yet returned home. OMF's original membership was over 6,000 members strong, prior to the proboards suspension, according to the rolls of the time. We can probably safely assume that some of those accounts were unidentified socks. If we were to assume a reasonable guess of maybe as many as 30% possible sock accounts then that would leave potentially somewhere between 4800 to 4900 possible real members to locate. That is still a substantial number of people.

Who were all these people? Some were average individuals with common interests in ufology, exopolitics, globalism, corruption, earthchanges, science and technology, and a variety of other interests. Some just enjoyed being part of a vibrant and unusually interesting community. Others were representative of various insider groups participating in observation and outreach projects, while still others were bonafide intelligence community personnel. All with stake in the hunt for truth in one fashion or another. Some in support of truth, and communication. Others seeking real disclosure and forms of proof. And others highly skeptical of anything or limited subjects. The smallest division of membership being wholly anti-disclosure oriented.

So where did these members vanish to? They had many options. There are almost innumerable other forums out there on the topics of UFO's or Exopolitics, the Unexplained, and Conspiracy Theory. Did they disappear into the world-wide network of forum inhabitants? Did some go find new homes on chatrooms or individual blogs? Did they participate in ufo conventions or other public events and gatherings? How about those who represented groups in special access? Or IC and military observers? Those with academic affiliations? Where did they all go and what would be the best way to reach out and extend an invitation to return?

And what constitutes a situation deserving of their time and participation? Is the archive enough? How exactly do people within the paradigm most desire to define a community? Is it amenities, humanity or simply population size for exposure? Most of the special guests have been emailed and have expressed that population size for exposure is what most motivates them. But not all. Long-time member Dan Smith has other priorities and values motivating his participation. Should this open opportunities for unattached junior guests who have experience and dialog to contribute to the world? How best to make use of OMF's time, experience and resources?

Many skeptics would like to see the historical guardian of discourse opportunity to just up and disappear; go into permanent stasis. They think that not everyone has a right to speak about their experiences and if there is no proof involved then there can philosophically be no value to discourse. I personally would respectfully disagree with them. Discourse has always been the prelude to meaningful relationships and meaningful mutual relationships have always been the prelude to exchanges of proof. In a contentious social environment with regards to communication vs disclosure how do we best re-establish a haven for those preludes? Is it only the "if we build it they will come" answer? Well considering OMF has been largely fully functional over the last four or five months this line of reasoning is not necessarily true. So what would be the best way re-establish this? Your suggestions are sought. Please comment.

I'm in no hurry to rush back to source because a sense of urgency is a sense of uncertainty and uncertainty is the opposite energy of source energy. I think the surest and safest way back to source is by becoming fully centered, present, and still. Then peace and tranquility will replace fleeting pleasures.//

The trickiest part is not the courage it takes to discover god but the surrender it takes to then forget god or be forgotten by god. We are lucky to have the Princess help guide us back to source but she can only be a guide. In the end we have to let go of the grip on our own. Then true peace and tranquillity will arive.

The longer we hold on the more tiring it becomes.

It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle.

The old world must glow for the new world to grow.

    god?

Who is god? What is god? Where is god?

    I sure as hell don’t know. I’m just a human....nothing more....nothing less. I think that’s a safe place to hide.

The closed time like curve is nauseating.

    So....my friends...how’s the weather?

    Ok, sports fans.......

I think I’ve figured out the final secret.

It is that there are no secrets, or the most important secrets are hidden in plain sight.

The final secret is that there are persons.  We are the only things that can be truly said to exist.

Technically, this secret is known as Personalism.

I think I might be the first person to be able to prove personalism.  And I can do that only with the help of the Princess, as according to this setup.  This is the main thing to be Disclosed.

I figured this out from two crucial clues.........

1.) Ron is not a personalist. More significantly, Ron has been deliberately denied the knowledge that this was going to the single crucial component of Disclosure. I’m going to explain this to RAK, when they come to breakfast.

2.) I will explain personalism to them by explaining to them that there are just two kinds of particles...... boy particles and girl particles.

3.) But wait........ there are no queer particles. Yes, there are strange particles, but no queer ones. And I think I know why. If my suspicion is correct, that will be Disclosure.

You’ll just have to stay tuned..........

    It takes two to tango.

In GB the duality is known in dowsing circles as Michael and Mary.

The flows of this duality are detectable as opposite spin.

Where those flows come together and spin about each other is where the great portals are sited.

Life ( as We experience the 3D physicality) can only exist within the duality flows of of these.
    Consciousness.

    hobbit,

Very good.  That proves the point.

Kashmir intuitively understands the answer, but her parents can’t because it’s too obvious.

If you are just a tourist, here, you will think it’s just another crazy chicken post.

Maybe, though, if you have the Omega briefing, you would give that last post more scrutiny.

If this were the case,  we might wonder if hobbit has had the Omega briefing, or if he is intuitive, like Kashmir.

Then there is the question of smelly.......

Yes, he holds the ace spades, but he is not playing with a full deck, so he is unable to enjoy the game that is being played.  But that’s ok, smelly, this game is written in the stars.

Dan, I’m living more life than you could dream of on 20 cruises Wink

Words aren’t the answer, stop the language game.

You aren’t Zen, so you are in duality based on your babblings.

That’s fine, but just because others don’t live a lie, you don’t have to throw rocks.

Be jealous, but this life is for you too.

I showed you how to live REAL life.

I hope you were reading, but you will be dead soon, like me, and everything you know will be gone forever.

You are the biggest Fool here, which is why I’m here.

Keep blabbin, as is your way.

I’ll keep checking you at EVERY turn, just because I can.

    Bahahahaha.

    Yin and yang.

Personalism is the thesis that only persons (self-conscious agents) and their states and characteristics exist, and that reality consists of a society of interacting persons. Typically, a personalist will hold that finite persons depend for their existence and continuance on God, who is the Supreme Person, having intelligence and volition. Personalists are usually idealists in metaphysics and construct their theories of knowledge by inference from the data of self-awareness. They tend to be nonutilitarian in ethics and to place ultimate value in the person as a free, self-conscious, moral agent, rather than in either mental states or in apersonal states of affairs. Typically, holding that a good God will not allow what has intrinsic value to lose existence, they believe in personal survival of death.
The term ‘personalism’, even as a term for philosophical systems, has myriad uses. There is said to be, for example, atheistic personalism (as in the case of McTaggart, famous for embracing both atheism and the immortality of the soul), absolute idealistic personalism (Hegel, Royce, Calkins), and theistic personalism (Bowne, Brightman, Bertocci). Leibniz and Berkeley are seen as early personalists; both were theists and idealists. Kant, while not strictly a personalist, was influential in personalism’s history. In particular, B.P. Bowne (1847–1910) borrowed freely from Kant, while refusing to accept a Kantian transcendentalism in which our basic concepts or categories apply in a knowledge-giving way only to appearances and not to reality. R.H. Lotze made personality and value central to his worldview, and was a European precursor of American personalism.

dan   i believe the lions share of people here are not going to be satisfied regarding this as disclosure.

sorry all, and especially smelly, the above is from this link .not my words

Words words words and more word salad.

Disclosure is not revealed with words or concepts or logic, that is vain mind only!

But as this medium is what I have to work with...

    One does what one can.

Do I need to know anything to live my life?

    Nope, that’s a big clue.

We made ALL this shit up.

The red dust has fouled us inside and out.

I welcome you to the Apocalypse.

    Wow, that’s good flow.

That kind shit still amazes me.

    A setup.

“Don’t try to escape from the movements of the

Pouring your whole being there without pause,

The Moon is 1/400th the size of the Sun and 1/400th the distance from earth.

They call that a coincidence and it appears no where else in our solar system.

    Sure...

No, that is what we call a correspondence.

“Ultimately the world stage is a linguistic phenomena." According to Riffard, The doctrine of analogy and correspondence, present in all esoteric schools of thinking, upholds that the Whole is One and that its different levels (realms, worlds) are equivalent systems, whose parts are in strict correspondence.”

Ug, muppets, when will they ever just stop making shit up and look up and wonder again as children?

Maybe a Melancholia movie plot is our fate, that would wake the muppets and fast Wink

Don’t look at anyone, look at the Moon to answer the question, who are you?

Since I was woken, I have become a hell of a photographer, I just have an eye for the unseen you might say. I don’t think it’s a coincidence Wink

My favorite pic I ever took, the last flower moon.

    It haunts me...

Edge of the sun to the opposite edge of the Earth.
The other edge of the sun to the other side of the earth.

    Where is the crossing point?

    Your pic.
