Accepting final participation is accepting no final meaning in Dasein and I think what Heidegger means when he says realizing that being is ungrounded frees us to live as Dasein authentically unbounded by ultimate meaning or conformity.

To be respectable and conforming is denying Dasein and being inauthentic.

This is akin to going with the flow.

His is a philosophy of personal liberation.

He originally was speaking about our unsettled age.

But the Greeks were more natural and were not unsettled.
