Where did all the Open Minds Forum members go?

Fri Oct 19, 2012 12:29 pm by Admin

With Open Minds Forum restored now for almost half a year at it's new location with forumotion.com we can now turn to look at reaching out to OMF's original members who have not yet returned home. OMF's original membership was over 6,000 members strong, prior to the proboards suspension, according to the rolls of the time. We can probably safely assume that some of those accounts were unidentified socks. If we were to assume a reasonable guess of maybe as many as 30% possible sock accounts then that would leave potentially somewhere between 4800 to 4900 possible real members to locate. That is still a substantial number of people.

Who were all these people? Some were average individuals with common interests in ufology, exopolitics, globalism, corruption, earthchanges, science and technology, and a variety of other interests. Some just enjoyed being part of a vibrant and unusually interesting community. Others were representative of various insider groups participating in observation and outreach projects, while still others were bonafide intelligence community personnel. All with stake in the hunt for truth in one fashion or another. Some in support of truth, and communication. Others seeking real disclosure and forms of proof. And others highly skeptical of anything or limited subjects. The smallest division of membership being wholly anti-disclosure oriented.

So where did these members vanish to? They had many options. There are almost innumerable other forums out there on the topics of UFO's or Exopolitics, the Unexplained, and Conspiracy Theory. Did they disappear into the world-wide network of forum inhabitants? Did some go find new homes on chatrooms or individual blogs? Did they participate in ufo conventions or other public events and gatherings? How about those who represented groups in special access? Or IC and military observers? Those with academic affiliations? Where did they all go and what would be the best way to reach out and extend an invitation to return?

And what constitutes a situation deserving of their time and participation? Is the archive enough? How exactly do people within the paradigm most desire to define a community? Is it amenities, humanity or simply population size for exposure? Most of the special guests have been emailed and have expressed that population size for exposure is what most motivates them. But not all. Long-time member Dan Smith has other priorities and values motivating his participation. Should this open opportunities for unattached junior guests who have experience and dialog to contribute to the world? How best to make use of OMF's time, experience and resources?

Many skeptics would like to see the historical guardian of discourse opportunity to just up and disappear; go into permanent stasis. They think that not everyone has a right to speak about their experiences and if there is no proof involved then there can philosophically be no value to discourse. I personally would respectfully disagree with them. Discourse has always been the prelude to meaningful relationships and meaningful mutual relationships have always been the prelude to exchanges of proof. In a contentious social environment with regards to communication vs disclosure how do we best re-establish a haven for those preludes? Is it only the "if we build it they will come" answer? Well considering OMF has been largely fully functional over the last four or five months this line of reasoning is not necessarily true. So what would be the best way re-establish this? Your suggestions are sought. Please comment.

It differs only superficially.  The form may appear very different, but not the underlying cause.

It is funny that Dan constantly solicits questions but almost every single one of them gets ignored.

As for the abbreviation WCM there seems to be some link between that and perhaps a nickname for John the Actuator.

I think I am getting LARPed out here. Happy Holidays everyone. See you on the other side (maybe).

Life will go on.  There is a strong segregation between the two sides of reality, as enforced by the Katechon.  The Katechon is mainly conceptual, and it is enforced mainly by habit.  Habits die hard.

The Monad is a melting pot, but certainly some portals will be segregated by function.  This portal compartmentation will facilitate the way back, in an interpersonal fashion.

Meantime, the WoM/MoAPS seems to proceed without the intervention of the MSM.  If there is actually a trail, it has been covered over rather effectively.  The 4M/K...... does that job quite effectively.  So do the nines, as in eleven and 23.  DonKim do their share of the distracting.  It is a mine field out there.  Folks don’t want to wander off the path.  Just keep looking straight ahead.  Do not look down.

    CorCat,

I do apologize for having too few answers.  This is mainly due to my ignorance of the phenomenon.  I’m the last one in my little circle to get clued in.  My only rabbit hole is the MoAPS.  I have to speculate as to how we might get from here to there, with the fewest quantum discontinuities, as you see, above..... it’s all speculation.

There is a Telos, and water does seek its own level.  There will be falls and reservoirs. We are in a very big reservoir.  The dam is high.  There are just a few leaks..... enough to keep the reality pump primed.

The main leakage is through the internet.  There are many virtual holes, which prepare us for the ‘real’ ones, and which can transform into such, as needed.

The book of Alice is it’s own little portal.  It has prepared the way.... as any number of individual portals might not have.

I asked about il papa....... how was his excursion?  I gather that it was not particularly noteworthy.  He had other reasons to resign, fortunately.

There are many, who, like Eric, will find their own way to the other side, with a little help from their friends, and medicinals, etc. While in their holding pattern, they may get the best of both worlds.

Wei Wu Wei only writes about Alice in the Wonderland. I thought this passage today very relevant so I share it.

Dan, what you hint at is indeed the height of human experience here now possible.

    Non-objective inseeing...Nirvana...the Kingdom of Heaven.

I’ll post an incredible dialogue in my other thread to expand on this synchronous idea a little more.

“So it does not really matter?”

No form of objectivisation has any nature of its own...he thinks he is seeing...THAT is ultimately what is looking...”

“What about those who see the Truth of Indeterminacy in Quantum Physics?”

“I think they have reached that same conclusion in their own way, for now they know that the “observer” is a “factor” in whatever experiment they undertake.”

“But all the religious teachings alive today and Buddha’s teachings are based on the false idea of causation. What about rebirth?!”

Only Dogmas are based on causation, and dogmas were rejected by the Masters of the Supreme Vehicle long before Quantum Physics was ever discovered. Religions and Dogma have been done on Earth for over a 1000 years, no need to bring them up again!

    “You are ruthless and uncompromising!”

    (Dan accuses me of such)

Ask yourself whether Bodhidharma, Hui Neng, or Shen Hui would have been ruthful and compromising, or ever were? Are you not, perhaps, still looking out as from an imaginary phenomenal centre?

Nothing that is True can be seen from there!

As “I”, remember, you are noumenal!”

“How depressing it is to listen to people, who should know better, talking of themselves as though they really existed!”

It might be a mistake to despise them—they may just be honest, refusing to pretend!

As long as it is a game of “let’s pretend” it is only practice and futile. As long as they think they exist they do and will appear here. Existence can only be apparent. Being entirely material is to live conceptually only, and such is their concept. They know they are not what they appear to be, but they attach themselves to the appearances. Their concept of themselves as real is the only reality in the Cosmos.

The meeting is today, at 4-6pm EST...... GoToMeeting.....

    access code is 196-084-693.  Phone.... (872) 240-3212

or try https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/433598789 .  There were two numbers last time also.  Take your pick.

One topic will be the caterpillar’s question...... who are you?  This is alleged to be relevant to portals.

The participation number is limited to 25.  I don’t know about the number of listeners.

I would answer that we attempt to reflect the Source, in whatever situation we find ourselves.  Others suggest the pantheist answer..... eliminate all sense of self.  The two answers may be complementary.

I suppose that we should be biased toward panentheism.  We have to think on our feet.

    3:10 EST............

I’ve never felt the rapture of the abyss that seems to be essential to pantheism.

    Ask Eric about this Rapture.

There is supposed to be a binary choice between pantheism and monotheism. I suppose that panentheism threads the needle. The abyss and the deity are both said to be unfathomable. Perhaps, but there is a bonafide personal essence of the Source, an essence that is not essentially different from ......... (?).......

The British Government presented Charles Dodgson with a sealed pod and a young lady. What he wrote several years later was an account of both from his perspective as mathematician and cryptographer. Some years after her death, an Avian was presented with a sealed pod, a young lady, and a copy of that book along with a mission to complete the story of Kashmir. WCM

Post by dan Mon Dec 04, 2017 5:38 am

I’m not quite sure why Footmann is posting over the moniker of wcm.... west coast marine..... john S....... skaizlimit.......

But I do recognize the confusion of time frames.  The constant theme throughout is the muse/magdalene theme.  Don’t forget the hollow ship (Utsoro Bune) episode in Japan.  Willy S is another author who’s name was mentioned in this context.

The story just keeps getting more fantastic, doesn’t it?  We’ll never be able to catch up with the truth...... as Kashmir said..... we can’t see God, because he moves faster than the speed of light.

I believe that what we’re seeing here is a rather peculiar exercise in democracy.  This is a small world democracy........  The ultimate democrat may have been Harry Truman.  Recall the sign on his desk..... the buck stops here.  Even God may have to stop somewhere ....... now here..... and this is the news from nowhere..... what do you say...... we give the poor guy a rest...... give Santa a cookie.

Yes, this is all about threading the needle between pantheism and panentheism...... No?  It can only get more personal..... just you wait and see.  Can we believe seven (billion) impossible things, before breakfast?

Believing seven billion impossible things is exactly the possible potentiality of democracy.  No?

    10:15 (EST + 2)............

I just spoke with Doug.  We seem to be pretty much on the same page........ There are several games in progress, hereabouts...... thimble, thimble, who’s got the thimble ...... and blind man’s bluff..... or pin the tail on the donkey...... if you can catch her.

After the show, yesterday, which was not recorded, I enquired further about the recent caper of the other side.  It does seem that the Princess did go awol, partly due to Footmann’s negligence.  Who had to find her?  Well, Kevin happened to be at the hub, so he could pretty much dowse which of the 32 portals she had taken.  And Kevin was talking on the car phone to Ron.  Kevin didn’t know that Paul was also in the car.  Paul told the chinaman, who had already noticed the anomaly.  So, we’ll just have to go figure.........  Disclosure seems a rather hit and miss process....... wouldn’t you say?

As Doug said, though...... perhaps, only in retrospect, can we appreciate the foresight.  And this does add a new dimension to free will, don’t we suppose...... and/or to the paucity, thereof...... can we have our teleology, and eat it, too....... munch, munch?

    Better ask Alice........

And, if you want practice believing seven impossible/ridiculous things, try these....... http://bigthink.com/stephen-johnson/understanding-the-really-ridiculous-core-tenets-of-the-flat-earth-hypothesis .

But there is a perfectly logical solution to the above conundra..... it was given to me, more than a year ago, by Paul Z....... the concave Earth Hypothesis, q.v.  And, while we’re at it, this also explains the SWH/small world hypothesis.  Prove that it doesn’t......

A little background on the recent tweet about the bureau being in chaos...... it does seem to be true.  One reason might be that, in their branch office in McLean, CF had difficulty finding anyone who was not of the Katechon.  It does seem that they might be horning in on portal territory....... not to worry, he’ll just move to another building..... one they don’t know about, yet.  Are we coming to moving day, or think outside the Boxing Day?  There does seem to be more controversy about the provenance of Charley D than even about Willy S, but whoever it was, was really into crypto.  Not to worry...... wcm is onto it.....

    12:10..........

Allow me to speculate, as things progress.........

Hillary was part of the Katechon mob.  Tom is now her stand in.  It’s all about sekret machines.  Even my old ufo buddy, Bill L, fell for this one...... tell folks what they think they want to hear, and they’ll follow you anywhere.

To not get duped, you have to think ahead of the game, and outside the game box.  How do I know that we won’t be HTB’d......?

When things start getting personal, you need to start paying attention.   That’s the hardest thing for anyone to believe, especially the bureau..... and for Eric to understand...... they can’t see beyond their own egos.  They might never understand a cosmic self..... how rediculous.

To actually think outside the box, you have to also be able to think inside the box...... who’d ever have thunk that the kingdom was within?  What a rediculous thought.

Yes, it’s very easy for the ego to get in the way.  It’s very tempting to simply jettison all that egoic bath water........ and it’s much too easy to throw the baby out with the bath water..... El Niño........ for all his navel gazing, Eric still can’t find his belly button.

Where do we go from here........?  Despite Foxcroft’s misgivings about the Princess and the tommy gun, I don’t think we’ve heard the last of KWF, sports fans...... actuator, actuator......

    1:15..........

    CorCat,

Epilepsy...... Dyspepsi....... cherchez la femme, simpleton.

Eric, eric...... such a drama queen..... find your El Niño, silly.

    Actuator...........?

It may be more like a fulcrum, actually.  We don’t need to turn the ship around....... we can just turn it inside out..... kinda like the Earth is....... already..... Talk about the sky falling..... what about the ground rising....... we can peel it like an orange.

And what about the Logan Act.........? Who might take the fall?

Something that pointed would likely disrupt a delicate balance. It could be a katechonic wedge...... an attempt to blow a cover.

Well, all good things must end. But I don’t see why the Katechon would not get on board the stealth wagon, if only they could. Yes, we might be donny’s last best hope.

Some authors, Sadi Ranson in particular, have suggested that Carroll may have suffered from temporal lobe epilepsy in which consciousness is not always completely lost but altered, and in which the symptoms mimic many of the same experiences as Alice in Wonderland. Carroll had at least one incident in which he suffered full loss of consciousness and awoke with a bloody nose, which he recorded in his diary and noted that the episode left him not feeling himself for "quite sometime afterward".

It appears apparent that west coast marine is posting under Ron's name, unless Ron has resorted to speaking in the third person. John used to be such a quiet guy busy with his portal efforts. He may be trying to steal your Messiah role in bring disclosure.

There appears to be a quickening.

    Grant,

It’s just Ron quoting John.   I asked why we couldn’t get John back here, but, no, he’s got more important assignments.  Kevin will have to come in his stead.  Steal this show.......?  All he would have to do is lift a finger.  But I do have a not so secret weapon....... I think her name begins with ‘k’.   But, thinking again, she’s already demonstrated that the can steal the show in a heartbeat.  I quake at the mere thought.

    CorCat,

Nosebleed......?  Now you’ve really got to be kidding.

But, yes, the pace does quicken.  You would think that some poor sport would want to blow the whistle on the stealthathon.   The poor sports are pretty much caught between a rock and a hard place.  They might choose to use any remaining time to clean up their act.  But, we all might be surprised that there is not all that much cleaning up to do.  Folks may have been sinning, but they weren’t necessarily making mistakes.  That’s the problem with the BPW...... it’s not that easy to make mistakes.  Well, that’s what I try to tell Debbie, anyway.

And about Kashmir....... I hold my enemies close, and I hold my goddaughter even closer.......

Doug, I do that now as well Wink

Every night I thank the air and sun for the day.

We say our prayers of course every night...

Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my soul to keep
And if I die before I wake
I pray the Lord my soul to take

    Asun Amoon Amen

Then I awake in the morning. One morning I will not. Could leave today or tomorrow. The ritual does have a focusing sobering effect. I recommend it. My fiancé’s Mother often visits us. She lets us know not to fear our Death...or Life.

I have really enjoyed Seneca. I like to just sit around the fire with them...in silence. So I do sometimes. They come and watch or grunt or point or whisper things I can’t make out.

Life is only boring when we aren’t paying attention.

    See that Supermoon last night?

Think it was really up there in the sky Wink

I could swear I touched it.

Watch what people run away from and what they seek to know them. Indeed, things are moving, but no more or less than they ever do. Seneca has good advice for the ninnies, sissies and babies. We see you vampires. You will not pass. I run from nothing. I seek nothing. I have everything already.

"It's ruinous for the soul to be anxious about the future and miserable in advance of misery, engulfed by anxiety that the things it desires might remain its own until the very end. For such a soul will never be at rest - by longing for things to come it will lose the ability to enjoy present things." -Seneca

    Everyone stay calm.

    thanks for the post garzzzz

yeah/ mock nightly funeral, its something everyone should do, at least in spirit.

its frightening for people to acquire their god given "unbearable lightness of being" , to coin a phrase.

well then what would they do? most people have defined themselves by what pisses them off, what they hate, whats wrong with all around them. we have all been there even if for a moment. but thats what you need to feel so you can recognize what you have given up .

is that a flat moon? or round?

    I don’t understand people Doug.

    I really don’t.

    I don’t try anymore.

Yes indeed...the ‘unbearable lightness of being’

To overcome the all or nothing idea.

“Instead each person has only one life to live and that which occurs in life occurs only once and never again – thus the "lightness" of being. Moreover, this lightness also signifies freedom.”

Freedom to do one thing, to live a life.

So many caught in meaningless stories. Imagine the one who obsesses over the end of the world.

    A truly pathetic figure.

They have missed the beat entirely.

The idea of the Moon was the point, so there it is masking the pull of gravity.

We are caught between awesome invisible forces.

We must see through things...into things.

There is only one story that is important and true...your own.

Did a person find their source in life?

If it’s always True what we are, does it matter what a person realizes?

I can’t answer that for anyone but myself.

    It mattered to me.

We only go around once........... Hmmm........

That might be a comforting thought.

The unbearable lightness of being is to be born again...... and even again.  But then don’t we then have the weight of all our ancestors and descendants bearing down upon us...... as we grow up......

If only we could wash out those damned spots...... aye, there’s the rub.  Hmmm........ But, wait, what if we could use blood to wash out the stains?  There’s the trick.   That would be almost like magic.  Hmmm...... again.

It kinda depends on whose blood we use....... the blood of our enemies, or.......... gosh, I’m getting a headache.......

But, speaking of lightness of being, why did the realization that 3x20=58 take such a weight off my shoulders?  That’s an honest to goodness paradox, or is that the mother of all paradox shifts?

There must have been a dread, as we dread getting into a cold shower....... or we dread our ELE.  This was something like a gravity’s rainbow......
We are caught between awesome invisible forces.  We must see through things...into things.
I think I was allowed to see into something, which I had only been able to speculate about, before.  Lightness here is hardly meant to belittle anything.  Life is an absolute.  This may be the reassurance that........ seriously, gogo, the world is not going to end.  Nothing happens by mistake...... absolutely nothing, gogo.

It is a big circle I guess.

    Flat or round?

    Hmmm.

    Both?

    Whenever the Cosmos
    Sends you an Angel
It sends you a Daimon too
    Same package

    Neither can live in matter
    They die drunk and high
    Without the other
Both balance on the head of THE pin

Let me shoot across the sky
    I know I always die
But what joy to ride low and high

Yeah I think that too, but maybe the journey wouldn't be an evolution?  Maybe that magnetic pull from all past others is heaped upon us so we can break  orbit and bring some others with us. ?

hey its not the world according to doug. but maybe it the best possible world after all

And then there is this guy...

    https://medium.com/@bescofield/tech-bro-guru-inside-the-sedona-cult-of-bentinho-massaro-a56314f830ef

Cute. He put a few things together and then he listened to the Devil in the desert.

Listen, you get this stuff dude. If you brand it right, you can be bigger than Jesus...

And now you have the new SAND sparatual teacher circuit and then you are rich rich rich and enlightened, you gotta be the smartest monkey they all must think and then they put good people who woke up...back to sleep!!!

Just like the god damn Evangelicals!!! I know this tune.

But no one who truly finds their heart is in danger of anything but bad gas and maybe old age if they are nice.

I don’t care Wink really, well...I feel a twinge...if this is your only turn...be rich.

But it is funny, because god damnit, I could be rich beyond the dreams of avarice.

I told the Devil as a true Garza/Heron, nice, but who the fuck wants that hassle?!

The Devil sat down and said, right indeed boy.

    Once a hobbit...always a hobbit Wink

garzzz/ He’s building a global, cosmic empire in a four phase sequence that ends with a “Trinfinity City.” He wants to create an “enlightened society by 2035.”

that means he will have no customers.

he better hope he fails , so he can succeed .
