Who's Disclosure is Disclosure?

Sun Apr 14, 2019 5:16 am by Cyrellys

The narrative war is in full swing. When there's a 100 different competing narratives, how is it possible to discern a disclosure?

Is it akin to which truth is Truth?

    “Nature’s first green is gold,
    Her hardest hue to hold.
    Her early leaf’s a flower;
    But only so an hour.
    Then leaf subsides to leaf.
    So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
    Nothing gold can stay.”

“Those who have wished men to believe in them are absurd.”

    Don’t believe me!

If you have the courage to embark on your own independent and self-reliant study and work using your own personally discovered methods, I shall be satisfied.

No tongue or pen can you have trust in, as these are the destroyers of the true experience of life.

    My life is my gospel.

    ...

THERE are seven keys to the great gate,
Being eight in one and one in eight.
First, let the body of thee be still,
Bound by the cerements of will,
    Corpse-rigid; thus thou mayst abort
The fidget-babes that tease the thought.
Next, let the breath-rhythm be low,
    Easy, regular, and slow;
So that thy being be in tune
With the great sea's Pacific swoon.
Third, let thy life be pure and calm,
Swayed softly as a windless palm.
Fourth, let the will-to-live be bound
To the one love of the profound.
Fifth, let the thought, divinely free
    From sense, observe its entity.
Watch every thought that springs; enhance
    Hour after hour thy vigilance!
Intense and keen, turned inward, miss
    No atom of analysis!
Sixth, on one thought securely pinned
Still every whisper of the wind!
So like a flame straight and unstirred
Burn up thy being in one word!
    Next, still that ecstasy, prolong
    Thy meditation steep and strong,
Slaying even God, should He distract
Thy attention from the chosen act!
Last, all these things in one o'erpowered,
Time that the midnight blossom flowered!
The oneness is. Yet even in this,
My son, thou shall not do amiss
If thou restrain the expression, shoot
Thy glance to rapture's darkling root,
Discarding name, form, sight, and stress
    Even of this high consciousness;
Pierce to the heart! I leave thee here:
Thou art the Master. I revere
    Thy radiance that rolls afar,
O Brother of the Silver Star!

    CROWLEY "AHA!"

    http://www.sacred-texts.com/oto/aba/aba2.htm

    ...

We should then not accuse one another or try to dissuade each other through any rhetoric, instead let all investigate in perfect freedom from bias the phonomena which occurred to the great teachers and leaders of Humanity.

We owe everything to the voices within and Nature without.

We should explore and turn all over and even come to kill and integrate our gods and their totems.

And eat of their flesh and speak their words.

For we bring the ancient and dead to life in us.

We are the Speakers for the Dead.

Buddha was the only teacher with no dogma of the great religions.

So I have chosen the Way of no faith as my companion in life and acceptance of all appearances as illusory, but not illusions.

All the great self help schemes from history have some commonality. They recommend virtue as a foundation, solitude, absence of excitement, moderate diet, a practice like prayer or meditation.

The last three conditions encourage the fourth.

What is our prayer or meditation but a restraining of the mind to a single act or state or thought.

I experience random thoughts now only rarely where once they raged like a storm.

I can speak from experience that the trance state is one that allows reprogramming of the mind-body connection and the voice can manifest from this state.

Life itself becomes an act of single focus and thus meditation and acting spontaneously allows the best possible outcomes to manifest.

This state only manifests from a well trained mind.

    MLA1.11

It is by freeing the mind from external influences, whether causal or emotional, that it obtains power to see somewhat of the truth of things.

Let us master our minds and bodies then.

Now, the basic law here is to do what is effective.

    Behind Gnosticism was Orpheus.

Unclear if Orpheus lived or not. Inviting our internal body energies to manifest and incubating them in mind is one aim of meditation.

Uniting subject and object, the seer and the seen, is a physical process that has the side effect of awakening Genius.

Observing the increase of your ability through acting with focus creates a tight loop that burns impossibly hot.

You could say Magick is the art of finding and living your true will.

Life lived well is a work of artistic creation.

You are given the means to create yourself with the elements presented to you.

Your sequence of DNA and what you are doing at any given moment is unique in the known universe at any given time.

While we walk a straight path, the Daimon travels in the lightening-flash of inspiration. The lightening flash of inspiration is the power of genius.

The Tower of the Tarot, not the cup, is the home of our genius and ego.

God moves in the pulse of the artery, in the zig zag of lightening, instantaneous. And then things settle and then another cosmic beat...and another.

    Flash...Bam...POW!!!

    Very interesting cards.

I picked the green lady last two days in a row in Wildwood deck.

Just yesterday I described the journey of life and awareness like walking down a hallway and having armor and weapons strapped on as I was being prepared to battle the Great Dragon at the end of the hall.

I burst into a giant treasure room at the end of the hall, armor gleaming and there was no fearsome dragon to be found.

Instead I saw a few dragons sitting around a table playing cards and I was invited to sit down and play awhile. They were smoking cigars. Which I thought very funny. Not like they need to worry about cancer or anything.

    Picked this today...haha.

It’s funny how things align themselves so we can notice.

    I can be cutting Wink

    From my ISIS Marseille deck.

    Aaron, Smelly,

I know nothing about Tarot cards. Can you recommend a certain deck to purchase?

If you feel like you would like to explore it, you are living the Tarot after all, maybe do some research and see what speaks to you or not.

Maybe go look at decks at a bookstore and see what you resonate with.

Do some research on the Tarot.

There are some different kinds of decks.

Marsellie style is one of oldest, I like Thoth style for deep work and study.

Before they were cards, they were talismans and were rocks and bones before that.

The I Ching is the Eastern version and it goes back to runes and sticks.

Meditations on the Tarot is a really good intro.

    https://www.amazon.com/Meditations-Tarot-Journey-Christian-Hermeticism/dp/1585421618

If you are open and connect to the cards, you will be amazed.

It’s not a trick, it’s a mirror of the stages of inner transformation.

    Lots of correspondences with Qabalah.

An old tool of the Magi.

My favorite is the Mary-El Tarot because of the companion book it comes with. She references many of the great outsiders of the past, those who have dove deep deep down like William Blake, Joseph Campbell and many others. She also references a wide variety of myths throughout history and compares the stories from them to the process of awakening. She also uses some Kabbalah as well. Very deep but also a good variety of angles. Her art is extremely powerful as well.

I think the best thing though is to look at a few different decks online and look at the art and go with what you feel a connection with.

I have used tarot as an accent to deep diving into the abyss, but it is true that it is not necessary for awareness. It's just an extension of you.

If only everyone accepted they are.

I suppose when we should we will.

    Dan is on tilt Aaron.

Best to ignore him and do your own thing.

He’s stuck 2000 years in the past.

He isn’t being led by his unconscious by choice.

He misses the knowing of direct experience.

He doesn’t understand how to transcend language.

In some mystery schools, to filter out the pretenders, you have to be able to see inside and prove it.

The profane and vulgar can be ignored really.

They can’t be helped unless they want to help themselves.

As far as I can tell I’m connected to the Secret Chiefs.

And who are the Secret Chiefs but reflections of our transcendent unknown unnameable source.

Anything you can name is not IT.

    And yet it communicates.

There is only one person who matters, the one who walks down that hall toward their certain doom to face the dragon.

    CW,
Have fun and remember that alone you are enough.

"I had a discussion with a great master in Japan... and we were talking about the various people who are working to translate the Zen books into English, and he said, "that's a waste of time. If you really understand Zen... you can use any book. You could use the Bible. you could use Alice in Wonderland. you could use the dictionary, because... the sound of rain needs no translation." - Alan Watts

However, we have something good going here now I think on this thread with focused final participation so I will lay off Dan.....for now.

You don’t need to argue with anyone was my point.

Pick up your mat and walk on if they don’t want you around or what you have to offer.

And no one really has anything to offer anyone in the end.

And this is my thread and I’m just posting what I’m looking into.

I have no point or need draw any conclusions.

    Life is a conversation.

This is just what is happening.

I'll be honest, I don't think I have anything to offer Dan.

I'm just having fun practicing Now Now Now with him and his honey pot.

Honey pots are anti-now and I find them to be very amusing.

I'm learning to ignore the pretenders more and more every day, what can I say.
