space travel

Post by jizba on Sun Jan 29, 2017 7:55 am

In a dog race the dogs chase a mechanical rabbit around the race tract. Now replace the dog by a spacecraft that has a drive that can deform the curvature of local space time. The spacecraft generates a virtual black hole in the place of the mechanical rabbit. As long as the drive is active there is no limit to the speed of the spacecraft.

Hi Jizba, is this akin to the shortest distance between two points is zero? A simple transfer from A to B...all angles being possible in any given location?

No rockets

Post by jizba on Thu May 18, 2017 10:23 am

Using rockets that rely on thrust by ejecting mass will never give us the ability to travel long distances in space. However, since there is
credible evidence that space travel by someones from distant stars
have reached our solar system (as evidenced by numerous images
obtained by NASA spacecraft, and by evidence of alien spacecraft accidents --such as Varginha in Brasil--, and by accounts in the US
of alien presence such as the "tall whites") there is clearly a high likelihood of alternate methods of traveling in space. One possibility is that high speeds in space can be achieved by spacecraft that has the capability to distort local spacetime. By doing so the craft falls as if attracted by a high mass such as a black hole. My attempt to explain this has resulted in this particular thread.

Could this also be done by using stars in the same manner as blackholes? I've been wondering, since there is abundant SOHO images of ships (refueling?) in our sun.

We need sharp minds

Post by jizba on Thu May 18, 2017 4:26 pm

My hope is that there are people who understand physics, but may be
aware that there are still subjects worthy of pursuing and in particular
those that may bear on the possibility of space travel.
