Prose ------ Destiny

Post by Bard on Fri Apr 26, 2013 6:25 am

How many Pell grants
Would one need
To surf with stars of Destiny
Opened eyes in treaty-plea
Or under guise, in fantasy.

When little Ashburn played too much
Between the pews of Falls Church
Into the basement he would go
With nothing left to touch
But Chanting - 'Little pig little pig let me in.'

George Mason with his Bill of Rights
Might spring right from his grave
Launching ships from the Chesapeake
For trying to bind new slaves,
Blinded from its mysteries
O' profiteers of secret sheets.
