Who's Disclosure is Disclosure?

Sun Apr 14, 2019 2:16 am by Cyrellys

The narrative war is in full swing. When there's a 100 different competing narratives, how is it possible to discern a disclosure?

Is it akin to which truth is Truth?

Post by kraven Tue Feb 05, 2013 1:13 pm

    Hello,

I am kraven from urubin.com. Recently through a friend who is also an admin on my forums I got the old url for this forum and on there a rar file of the old forum was put up for downloading(Which I did)

I noticed that this forum is missing all the old posts and threads as well as the memberbase.

If you would like I could remedy that situation by restoring the old forum on one of my servers enabling you to access it once again and either import the stuff into this one or vice versa or at least be able to send word out to the old members, where you are located now.

If you would like that simply hit me up at kraven at inbox dotcom and we can discuss how to proceed.

And if you aren't interested that's fine too, then I won't do anything with the file. Just wanted to let you all know I have it and I have the means to restore it in case you would like to make use of it.

    Cheers!

    Hello Kraven,

I am a co-creator of the original forum. Starting from a small group and building it to over 6,500 members from over 75 countries. Due to the nature of the forum discussion content, the forum was monitored by numerous intelligence agencies. Suffice to say, I've experienced a great deal over the past 7 years.

I see your posted link is a Dutch language website. I appreciate your offer very much, but I trust you understand that we need to be cautious.

In doing a simple google search of "inbox dotcom" to which you have referred us to contact you, I see there are a number of search results that indicate that "inbox dotcom" has gained some spurious reviews. Which of course, causes me some curiosity.

Could you please offer us more information about the service you are offering.

    Thank you

Well inbox.com is merely a free email provider I use for my online dealings much like Gmail and the likes. I prefer inbox.com because of their excellent anti Spam filters.

If it makes you feel better you may also use info at proseowriting dotcom which is a domain I own and host myself including the email Smile

I don't know if you can read Dutch but if you can I am sure you have seen what kind of site Urubin is.And as for intelligence agencies... My experience is that they are not so intelligent I booted 3 of theirs from my forum already LOL

Not trying to brag, but I know my IT Smile

Now, basically I am just helping out I see what happened to your forum and like you I feel(and fight) that information has to be free. As a fellow webmaster I also know how it feels to lose a sizeable amount of data.(I have been running forums on and off since the nineties).

I can appreciate you trying to start up again and also know how hard this can be with all the previous work destroyed. Therefor I decided to stick out a helping hand when TheGray(my admin) sent me a message that the old forum you had was up for download in the form of a RAR file. He was directed to it by one of your old members I think. He posts on my forum under the name of CIRIUS I don't know how he called himself on yours.

In any case I have several servers running my own sites and plenty of space and bandwidth so I thought I'd offer my help so you can get to your old forum again. No strings attached just a helping hand.

    Cheers!
    Kraven

    Thanks for the addition, Kraven.

I notice there are only 4 google search results for "proseowriting dotcom".

I also see that there is an anomaly on this thread that is scrolling the "post box" when quoting your posts, and not permitting me to view what I write, as with each letter added automatically scrolls the view window to the top. Consequently it has taken me an extended time to write what I have written so far.

Fascinating! Did you per chance do that? Cool script, if you did. Although I would have preferred that this didn't happen on our forum. It does appear that you do know your IT.

Oh, this is taking way to long to post

Well that was an interesting 30 minutes!

Anyway, back to your reply, Raven

Please accept my apology, for the new Admins here are not as adept in the experience of administrating and managing an "OpenMindsForum" as I am. But do not underestimate them either. They are highly skilled in ways beyond normality. So I am confident they will adjust rapidly.

Anyway, that aside. I am very interested in your offer. "Intrigued" would be more appropriate. Especially considering the above noted anomalies. But none-the-less 'Open Minded' to your proposal.

    Raven,

No, I do not read Dutch. Although I very much enjoyed my travels in the Nederlands. Good people. And so too the Western bordering Deutsch. Reminds of the charming Schatzi I met in Bora Bora. A Porshe SE diplomatic secretary who insisted I tour New Zealand with her. We later met-up in Auckland, did the Bay of Islands, but ... well that's another story.

So back to your kind heartfelt interest in hosting our forum on your servers....

Oh, Btw, just wanted to say before I forget. We at OpenMindsForum welcomed the clandestine Intelligence Agency's monitoring. Of course it wasn't entirely clandestine. Some of the "white-hats" as some people refer to, did make a point of letting us know in indirect ways that they were helping us out from time to time.

You see, OpenMindsForum was about "Acclimation". Our 'Admin' team were all civilians, without Intel connections or past associations. But we recognized that there is an on-going multi-billion dollar world wide Acclimation process that has been orchestrated by the highest PtB for the past 4-6 decades, with the purposes of preparing mankind for it's "Childhood's End".

And so Intel monitoring was not only expected, but welcomed and appreciated.

Unfortunately however, Intel Agencies are not all of one accord. They have competing agendas. So we kept an Open Mind to all possibilities.

2nd point is , if Kraven is so good at being a webmaster how did he miss the links on the top left of the site (omf navigation)

4th Point is again how did he miss the omf navigation section.

This is just my observation from Kraven opening post , and only a suggestion of whats being asked.

Some questions that need asked are

1: who give him the rar archive?
2: How could anyone put the rar on the old url?(unless Kraven meant he got the rar and the url as 2 seperate items)

    Oh that url and rar!

Yes, we have that. It was created on Jan 23rd, last year. It's not entirely complete, but close enough. I hadn't noticed that Chris/Top had it uploaded. Glad to see it, for posterity's sake.

    Kraven, you have probably noticed now, that we have a restored readable forum archive here;

    http://theopenmind.freehostingcloud.com/index.html
    and here;
    http://lucianarchysoriginalopenminds.web44.net/

We haven't imported it into this forum, merely because of the time required to complete such a job.

We're not sure what benefits there would be to have you load up a copy on your server. We are talking about it.

    Oh and one other thing...

    "Over Copyrights"
    http://urubin.com/?page_id=5556

I've read your statement. I see that your view of copyrights may conflict with some of ours.

Although the forum content is the product of thousands of contributors and free source. The Name "OpenMindsForum" is contractually co-owned by five individuals residing in three countries. We would take issue with anyone other than one or more of these, operating a workable forum with this name and historical database.

    Perhaps you could address this.

    Hey guys,

The reason the archive is on additional sites rather than specifically incorporated in this one was primarily to spread it across other hosting servers as part of constructing a hydra (mythological many headed dragon). It's harder to squash something that sprouts legs and heads virally.

The hydra design is similar to the one Compass Morainn uses. If someone wishes to attack and take it down, they'd have to chase more than one hosting company, making their behavior more than a little obvious and alienating hosting companies who'd at some point start comparing notes. Aggressive IC groups like to work with little opposition and less spotlighting. The point of the hydra is to cause that kind of aggressive behavior to flip the switches themselves spotlighting themselves everytime they pull those kinds of stunts. The more they do it the less work I have to do for them to look like mud. Its the old force the nerd to don his own "kick me" sign philosophy. The more he says something socially retarded the more he finds himself having to pick up the sign and wear it.

The OMF Archive of the forum's original edition is a volume somewhere in in excess of 10 gigs if I remember. Animal would have a more accurate number on that particularly after the accompanying image content were re-established.

I realize the Index at the top of the forum page is probably not as obvious as one might like. But if we were to feature it more prominently we'd lose some of the functional size of the current forum I think.

    Welcome to OMF TheGray!

    Hey Jake,

I just read the copyright page at Kraven's site. In what way is this a problem? It only says they are in favor of universal information sharing across sites with attribution. Meaning if you repost something just leave a link to the original source. This isn't anything different than what we already do here at OMF. Did I miss something? I had the copyright page translated by google.
